Jonas Brothers-Lines Vines and Trying Times
Recently curiosity had gotten the better of me, everyone in my school for some reason started talking about Camp Rock. I had always vowed to myself I would never watch it; High School Musical was enough for me. But when the conversations started up again, my curiosity grew deep and I went out and bought Camp Rock on DVD. To my surprise I loved it and the Jonas Brothers wowed me, so I went out and bought this CD, my ciao money came in handy for something, I had about £30 maybe a bit more of it sitting in my bank doing nothing.
So I went on adventure to ADSA, yes...my adventures involve going to ADSA and I bought myself a bottle of fanta, chocolate this CD and I bought my mum a t-shirt she had her eye on.
The Jonas Brothers became famous in 2005. They are well known for their purity rings and cheesy songs but in actual fact when I listened to their music it didnt sound cheesy at all.

Kevin, Nick and Joe for those who haven't seen yet have featured in Night at The Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian as the cherubs, I think they fit the role perfectly. And something I only found out today, they have their own tv programme on the Disney Channel called JONAS. Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam has recently been finished filming and will be released 2010, In which they return as the wonderful band Connect Three. The Album
This album, is probably the top of my list at the moment simply because it is amazing and not cheesy at all. Its great for kids to listen too as they are good inspiration...Im 15, 16 in January, i get made fun of for liking this band,but I dont care...Im still about 6 years old mentally. The Jonas Brothers are for all ages and I don't care what anybody says...I love the Jonas Brothers and I'm not ashamed of it.
Track 1
World War III
This track is one of my favourites off the album, it has great guitarring and vocals, written by Nick Jonas [The youngest] it really is upbeat. The lyrics are great and the first part of the chorus is so catchy 'Well you gotta chill out cause baby I don't wanna fight with you, and every battle we fought just made us look like fools' This really is a great start to the album and deffinatley keeps the listener wanting more. This is the song they performed on the Teen Choice Awards.

==Track 2==
Paranoid
This Track has a great video to it, you can catch it on youtube. The tempo is average and the vocals are brilliant. I love the beat it has, it is very sturdy and I think thats what makes a good song...a strudy beat. The lyrics are amazing and well written. The chorus is a very catching one and once you know the lyrics to this track you have to sing a ong, its like a bug you cant get rid of.

==Track 3==
Fly With Me
Probably my favourite track off the whole album, I went through a phase where I would listen to this for nearly 24 hours for about a month. I would put my MP3 on when I went to bed and just have this on repeat. I was crazy about it. I love the lyrics and the vocals are just perfectly amazing and get you singing along. I was that crazy I started having dreams where I would be sat in my living room with the stereo on and this was playing over and over again, but thats mainly because I was listening to it in my sleep. Literally. It was even on my phone so when my MP3 was charging I could still listen to it. There isn't even a word to sum this track up, I love it so much and I never get bored of it.

==Track 4==
Poison Ivy
This track is like a really great annoyance. I love this track and skipped around the gym singing it just this morning, and I was annoyed that it was in my head, I should have been focusing on sports...not music, but thats just me. It has a brilliant beat to it and the guitarring is immense, and as for the vocals well they are amazing, theres no doubt about that. The guitar rhythm gets me bouncing in my seat and i literally yell the lyrics 'Everybody is allergic to poison Ivy!' instead of singing them. Everybody is sure to get the itch after listening to this track, I'm sure.

Hey Baby
An infectious song, which I'm sure I have heard somewhere before but I can't quite think of where. Anywho as I said it is infectious song, I cant help but jam along to it when I hear it. The vocals are brilliant as are the lyrics. The guitar rhythm is easy and the solo is too but also very amazing. The beat is sure to get your foot tapping. This track is great because The Jonas Brothers obviously isn't everyone's cup of tea but I know plenty of people who have been infected by this song. Just the other week I got the chaviest boy in my year listening to it and he was singing it for three days straight, its a record, I'm aiming for longer with my next victim.

Track 6
Before The Storm (Featuring Miley Cyrus)
This track is Ah-Maze-ING!! The lyrics whe you listen to them sound like a way of Nick and Miley saying goodbye to the relationship they had. Its a beautiful song and I listen to it at least once a day. The beat is slow but really gives that track the oomph, that it probably doesn't need. The vocals of both Nick and Miley are undescribable, and Its even better live. I think the chorus is exceptional and I've just finished learning Miley's vocals for a project(outside of school).

Track 7
What Did I Do To Your Heart
This track is very upbeat, and has a slightl country feel to it, I love it when you hear the harmonica every now and then, it just amuses me, I always wanted to be able to play one of them. Lyrics are great and as usual so are the lyrics, I honestly never thought I'd become a slightly crazy fan of the Jonas Brother, If you'd have said the Jonas Brothers 7 months ago I'd have said, Uh Never ever ever...but now I'd say Yeah Baby! [Yes I'm crazy but that's just me]

==Track 8==
Much Better
This track is my second favourite, Its just another infectious song, that I sing when I'm in history writing an essay about the French Revoloution, of course Im oblivous Im singing it till all the class are staring at me [I have ear phones in] Well anyway this track has a real jazz feel to it and the riff reminds me of something from back to the future [One amazing film] It's got that type of beat that gets your foot going and it doesn't stop even after the song has ended.Infectious.
5/5
So so far we have full marks for every track and I have to admit that I screamed when the power cut out on us after that track ended. I could have gone on a murderous rampage...but it came back on four hours later [10pm] and I carried on listening to it [Through headphones at this point and in my oppinion head phones can change the way you hear the song slightly]
Track 9
Black Keys
The Piano melody for this track is beautiful and the vocals just light it up. Its a nice song to listen to and it really picks up at about 01:18 with a nice enticing beat to keep you listening, even if you love the song to pieces. I love the lyrics, so catchy. =]

==Track 10==
Don't Charge Me For The Crime ft Common
It starts off with Common talking and a heavy bass line comes in as Common starts to rap, He is no Eminem but he is still pretty good. I love the layout of this song, its got a light rap/metal feel to it, with its pip easy solos but they are still brilliant. It's not a song I listen to often but I still enjoy it when I listen to it.
5/5
==Track 11==
Turn Right
A beautiful song with some incredible acoustic work here, Im learning this one at the moment with a new acoustic I recently aquired. The vocals are soft and makes this song a relaxing one. I enjoy listening to this one a bit too much, I think the lyrics are incredible and Nick and Joe sing them perfectly. Its one of the recomendable songs on the album and its proof they are not a cheesy band.
5/5
==Track 12==
Don't Speak
This is the closing track, and it made me sad, I wanted more. The track is incredible, I love it just like all the other tracks, It just has a rhythm that makes you slip into your own world and reflect on your life in a good way. The vocals amazed me they are slightly different from the rest of the album, softer and slower. The beat gets your nails tapping and then your foot and soon enough when you know the words your singing along
5/5
==A Few Words==
If you have small children, especially little girls [They go crazy over these lads] I suggest you let them try this, you have nothing to worry about like explict lyrics as its perfectly clean. And hey Im a 15 year old girl who still watches kids programmes, so I have the mental age of a child.
Its a brilliant album and even you parents might just get infected with the Jonas virus, but don't act like its a bad thing because it really isn't...be proud of it.

Review of Lines Vines And Trying Times [ECD] - Jonas Brothers
Advantages: The CD booklet has 24 unseen photos. Disadvantages: Wasn't as infectious as their other albums.
Lines Vines and Trying Times is the latest release from the Jonas Brothers and their fourth studio album. Kevin, Nick and Joe have matured since their last album (A Little Bit Longer) and so has their music. The album has 12 tracks and a bonus song Keep It Real from the Jonas's disney channel show Jonas. The album sees the use of horns incorporated into songs which is a new edition to the usual instrument line up. These are the songs: 1. “World War ... ...so kudos to them. Maybe some of the lyrics could have been more meaningful especially on songs such as 'Hey Baby and What Did I Do to Your Heart' but overall, Lines Vines and Trying Times is definitely an album for the Jo Bros to be proud of. ...

Album Notes
The teen-friendly siblings return with their fourth album, 'Lines, Vines And Trying Times'. The Jonas Brothers' brand of pop-rock is mixed with a new-found desire amongst the boys to document their daily lives in more confessional songs, with lead single 'Paranoid' serving as a perfect example. The sound, though still accessible, is notably more mature on this release, showcasing a more personal side to the brothers. Influences cited include Elvis Costello, The Zutons and Neil Diamond.
