Fantastic album full of simple, haunting melodies that are slow and sad but amazingly uplifting. She has a soft, etheral voice and this is a fantastic album to chill out and relax to. Worth buying for her great cover of Dolly Parton's Jolene alone - a slow, moving version very, very different to the original. Most of the other songs are original compositions from this young Norweigan singer and they sound very fresh and new. Its also a fantastic present for any folky, alternative music lovers as its an unusual, quirky album. It is very difficult to get hold of in shops but definitely worth searching out. You should also look out for her album of covers including beautiful versions of Halleluliah, Its A Long Way To The Top and Love Will Tear Us Apart.
