The album 'A Little Darker' is a Hip Hop and R&B album made in the Uk, it features artists such as Akala and Ms. Dynamite and many other artists I had never heard of until I got the album, it's also produced by Illastate Records. The album was recorded between November 2005 and April 2006 and was released in September 2006. The Album consists of 24 tracks and features several different UK artists.
I didn't actually buy the CD instead I downloaded it of emusic which has a lot of unknown music. If your into UK Hip Hop and R&B you will definitely enjoy listening to this album.

As you can see there are many different artists, this means there are many different sounds to be heard. Each track is completely individual and there is a great mixture of UK urban music on the album.
The album mainly features Akala or Ms. Dynamite who are well known in the UK urban music scene, this helps to tie in new artists to all the different tracks and get you to hear some very new music.
The album starts with the song Kick You Out and ends with a remix of the same song. This gives a very good ending to the album as Kick You Out is one of the best songs which makes the album start and end on a very good note.
My favourite 5 songs on the album are: Kick You Out Knowbody Way Back When Bounce Kick You Out Remix
These songs are are all at the start and end of the album so I've found that the start and end of the album are very good but what about the middle?
Well the middle of the album is also good but I just prefer the songs at the start and the end of the album.
If you are into your Hip Hop and R&B and want to hear some new UK music instead of the usual American music that most people listen to then you might want to get this album. There are 24 tracks on the album so if your interested in this type of music theres going to be a few tracks you will like.

It was released in Spetember?! Now that surprises me 'cause I got given it in June!! Still it is a really good album, fantastic variety of artists, I haven't heard it in a little bit, but it really good isn't it?
