Howard Ashman and Alan Menken make a great team and have produced a great collection os songs for the soundtrack for the 1986 film Little Shop Of Horrors. Ellen Green as the character of Audrey really conveys the emtion that is needed for the part, and this relates well on the soundtrack. The soundtrack captures the fun and excitment of the show, with some outstanding performances from Rick Moranis and Steve Marting as the Dentist. Levi Stubbs as the plant also is fantastic and you get to hear a little more of him on the soundtrack than in the film. This cd is a musit have for any musical theatre lover, if you are a fan of the film you will also not be disappointed although there is some changes to the running order.
