Advantages: It's Paul Weller, live! Need I say more! Disadvantages: None!
Many of you will probably remember PaulWeller from his time with The Jam or The Style Council, or more recently his solo career, including the platinum selling Stanley Road album.
And if you've never heard of him before, he's a singer who also plays a range of guitars, as well as keyboards and pianos etc. He also inspired groups like Oasis and Ocean Colour Scene. In fact, Noel Gallagher has before now appeared guesting with PaulWeller on Jools Holland.
Anyway, enough of an intro to WHO PaulWeller is, the next real point to make is that however good he may be on promo videos or on CD, there is NOTHING to beat seeing him LIVE. And whilst this DVD can't take you back three years to see the concert live in Glasgow, it does the next best thing.
The DVD captures PaulWellerlive! The DVD runs for 2 hours and features a total ...
Advantages: A remarkable, perfectly produced live album Disadvantages: It is a live album, and this is enough to put many buyers off!

Jumping back into the studio for a brief while, he didn't dip his toes into the waters of live audience participation again until, 'Days Of Speed,' in 2001. Complete with all ...
Advantages: a real mix of sounds and textures Disadvantages: Trying to pick a weak track
PaulWeller
I've always had mixed feelings about PaulWeller. I love all the old classics, and listen to them a lot. The album starts with classic PaulWeller, tight sounds and driving chords, as in "Light nights" and the title track "22 Dreams". There is a lightness of touch In "All I wanna do" and "Invisible", at his best as writer and singer. Then a real left field move with the unusual "Song for Alice" and the shortest track, with the longest title "The dark pages of September lead to the new leaves of spring". A little touch of Brian Wilson in "Pet sounds"!!
This album finishes ...
