Advantages: Great mix of The Prodigy's greatest hits. Disadvantages: Shame they didnt put more tracks on it.
...The Prodigy are a British electronica (or big beat) band whose style has been heavily influenced by the Acid House Movement. The Prodigy's varying style can best be described as rave or hardcore techno. The band's permanent members are Liam Howlett (composer/keyboard), Keith Flint (vocalist) and Maxim (vocalist). The Prodigy formed in the early 1990s and in 1991 their demo was released by XL Recordings. They have released five albums, including the demo "What Evil Lurks" in 1991, which was followed by "The Prodigy Experience" in 1992 (reached number 12 in the UK charts), "Music for the Jilted Generation" in 1994 (reached number 1 in the UK charts), "The Fat of the Land" in 1994 (reached number 1 in both the UK and the US charts) and finally "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned" in 2004 (reached number 1 in the UK charts).

Advantages: Some fantastic songs that benefitted from a live atmosphere. Disadvantages: Some tracks didn't work vocally, a little Beatle bias.
...money but it's nice to be less cynical at least for the first half of the review.
We got this for my Dad as a present a couple of years ago, following our trip to see Sir Paul ourselves. It was a good night but, unfortunately, I didn't really appreciate the fact that I was seeing a living legend perform back in 2003 and my interest in the four lads from Liverpool hadn't been ignited as of yet.
THE ALBUM
Unsurprisingly, to fit all of those 36 tracks onto one disk would have been near enough impossible.

Advantages: A nice smattering of rare live songs on disc one. Disadvantages: Inferior alternative to 'Live at Donington' in every way.
...in apparent embarrassment over the increasing extravagance of Iron Maiden live shows and songs throughout the 80s, and evidently failed to learn anything from the weak sound of 1990's 'No Prayer for the Dying' album. The sound quality is indeed raw, but the energy required is entirely lacking in most of the band members, with the exception of mad drummer Nicko McBrain who is as reliable as he is formulaic. Anyone who has seen an Iron Maiden live video from 1990 onwards will recognise the contributions of Janick Gers, Adrian Smith's poorer replacement, as listening to this recording you can practically see him holding his white guitar high in the air for no particular reason and jumping on the spot during the large gaps in sound where he should be soloing.
Disc 1: A Real Dead One
1.The Number of the Beast
2.The Trooper
3.Prowler
