Advantages: A great weekend, free events, attracts many big artists. Disadvantages: It may rain!
the different instruments. There was a great atmosphere, everyone was dancing (despite the drizzle).
Before I went to this festival, I thought it would be boring - old people's music, but when I got there I realised how uplifting jazz music is. I loved watching the big bands playing, it is good entertainment watching the saxaphones and the trumpets.
There are also loads of stalls set up selling all sorts of arts and crafts type things. I got a cow print cushion cover and purse (I LOVE cow print! I must find some for my profile page!) The streets are packed and it feels as though everyone from Wales is there (but don't let that put you off! Joke).
There are also food and drink stalls set up in the streets where you can buy burgers and beer amongst other things. Brecon also has a number of chip shops and LOADS of pubs so you will not go ...
Advantages: Good food for thought and quite inspiring Disadvantages: Calls for a leap of faith..
The Tibetan Art of Living is not usually a book I would read, but I picked it up in a New Age shop on a recent visit to Glastonbury. After skimming through it a few paragraphs intrigued me.
I tend to be a rather sceptical person, but I keep open minded about subjects preferring to EXPERIENCE truth rather than conceptualise it. Before going any further in the review of this book, let me try to explain?
I see an experience as something that is absolute truth - you know it because you experience it. On the hand, a belief is something that may or may not be true. I see it like this? Books generate beliefs, and truth will either be realised or not realised by what you experience after digesting the content of a book and "looking" for yourself.
What follows are the feelings that were generated in me as a result of reading this ...
carried out by our local dealer, Brighton Honda. Indeed, they are equally as costly to run on this score as my much more sophisticated diesel Accord. All of their competitors would be cheaper to run on this score - especially the Fords and Vauxhalls.
Even this £12,000, top of the range, Jazz falls into a lowly group 3 insurance band. It will not cost therefore even a newly qualified driver an arm and a leg to insure.
Let the "fun" begin! You want to know what this car is like to live with and to drive and be driven in??.
THE EXTERIOR:
STYLING 6 /10: A very subjective category here.
Well let's face it, there are not many superminis that you would want to look twice at and the Jazz is really no exception. It is neatly styled and obviously purposeful, although the bottom of the range models do look very basic with their plastic ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Art Blakey (drums); Sonny Stitt (alto saxophone, tenor saxophone); Clark Terry (trumpet, flugelhorn); Roy Eldridge (trumpet); Kai Winding (trombone); Thelonious Monk (piano); Al McKibbon (bass instrument). The late Art Blakey was and remains one of the greatest jazz drummers in history. While not a fantastic composer, Blakey mastered a polyrhythmic style, and he could galvanize a band as few others could. (Blakey's bands were like finishing schools for an incredible amount of jazz talent from the 1950's onward.) 1972 MONTEREY is a concert recording with a band-for-special-occasions consisting of many legendary players, including bebop pioneer Thelonious Monk, trumpeters Clark Terry and Roy Eldridge, and saxophonist Sonny Stitt. In essence, this is one big joy-filled jam session, wherein these heavy cats go to town on familiar standards. Loaded with lots of freewheeling solos, this MONTEREY set will make the day of any fan of classic mainstream jazz.
