Advantages: Better selection of bands Disadvantages: Still a few oddities
...', which has all the usual verve of the Chicago trio, 'Doomsday Breach' off Only Crimes’ excellent debut 'To The Nines 'and the Mad Caddies’ live presentation of 'No Hope','the remaining songs on 'Rock against Bush Vol. 2' help form an album that will not only play its part in entertaining and enlightening today’s listeners but may continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
Compilation albums can often suffer from too much variety but 'Rock Against Bush Vol.2' has gone against the norm, blending the Irish influenced music of Flogging Molly, the pop-punk emo of Yellowcard and the ska of the legendary Operation Ivy perfectly, culminating in a well devised record. Advantages: mixture of music genres all on one cd Disadvantages: none
...Simply Red- Stars... His best Album by far!!!
I have owned this album for many years and I could never get bored of it... It is Mick and the gangs best album so far!!!
Including such hits as Stars, something got me started and the beautiful ballad, For your babies, it combines a mixture of all the Red's incredible vocal and musical talents.
Although first released in 1991... this album is as fresh and vibrant today as it was 17 years ago.
For anybody wanting to buy a Simply red Album to enjoy at home or in the car, I would recommend stars as being your first choice.
I would also recommend to those fans out there to see the group live in concert, because when they perfrom such songs as what is on this album live... nothing can beat it......

I could recommend just about any XTC record to you as an introduction to the band, they’ve been that consistent over the years but if I had to narrow it down the shortlist would contain "English Settlement", "Oranges and Lemons", "Skylarking" and this, "Wasp Star – Apple Venus Vol. 2", their latest. This is the second album recorded with new label, Cooking Vinyl, having gone nearly a decade without recording any music, waiting out their label, Virgin, because they didn’t want to record for them anymore. For some reason, Virgin refused to release them from their contract, despite the fact that they never promoted their records to any great...
