It's a rare thing when you can go home again... The Seekers are a too often underrecognised force in pop music. Supremely talented and driven by the transcendent voice of Judith Durham, they miraculously reunite after 25 years and, get this, are better than ever. Age and perspective brings a subtle maturity and irony to their voices and presentation. Each is gifted in his/her own right and together they create a unique and yes, magical chemistry that defies time and trends. The songs are performed with a passionate affection and respect for the original arrangements and memories. As a special treat, check out their studio album from the late 90s, "Future Road." Sublime in my humble opinion. A welcome relief of harmony, melody and acoustic layers from the synthesized, shallow garbage that pervades pop culture today.
