Will Young - Keep On Live Tour 2006

Advantages: Great Voice, Sexy Dance Routines, Long set
Disadvantages: Expensive Merchandising, Huge Queues everywhere!

week in week out, culminating in a Will Party with my friends on the night of the live finale show. It was a close run contest with Will pipping Gareth Gates (remember him?!) to the title of Pop Idol with an astonishing 4.6 million votes cast for him. He quickly brought out his first album and single 'Evergreen' which sold 1,108,659 copies in its first week, becoming one of the UKs best selling debut singles ever. From then on Will has quickly established and distanced himself from the reality side of his career by bringing out 3 albums of great quality music. What was Brewing in 2006?

Advantages: A year with more ups than down.
Disadvantages: A little bit of bad creeps in....

2006 has been and gone and enough time has passed since New Years Eve for my liver to recover and my head to feel a little less addled by the hangovers the Christmas period seems to induce. I have now had time to reflect on the year that has gone and hopefully look forward to the year that is to come. I thought that the less painful way of summarizing my year would be to use the questionnaire that has been so ably answered by many other members of this site. 1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? This year has seen me have my first set of tasting notes, as Chairman of my local Beer Tasting Panel, published in a national publication.
