Advantages: A Piece of Music History Disadvantages: None
...the vocal credit to Clapton at the end) on “The Best Air Guitar Album In The World… Ever!” Booker T’s most famous composition, “Born Under A Bad Sign” was recorded in the studio (“Born under a bad sign/ I’ve been down since I began to crawl/ If it wasn’t for bad luck/ I wouldn’t have no luck at all”) as was Howlin’ Wolf’s “Sitting On Top of the World”. And of course there’s “Spoonful”, penned by the prolific Willie Dixon. But Cream have made this one their own; not through the insipid six-minute studio version which appears on compilations, but through this marvellous sixteen-minute live version which showcases the phenomenal abilities of all three legends. If I had to choose a single song to represent the whole rock genre, this would be it. Melody on both staves, harmony and separation, rhythm and stealth – and slightly naff lyrics. OK, so...

Advantages: John Entwistle and Eric Clapton were Gods Disadvantages: John is no more.
...by Blind Lemon Jefferson, Howlin’ Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson and the like when along came this group, The Cream. I was absolutely dumbstruck, I loved the music. There was Ginger Baker on drums, Jack Bruce on Bass Guitar and Vocals, but there was God, otherwise known as Eric “Slowhand” Clapton, on Guitar/ Vocals.

Advantages: Just brilliant 100% Disadvantages: They have too many great songs to fit all of them on one album.
..." Without it, I would not live.............Silence"
Definately one of the most fun live albums to listen to!
There are a few live sonata songs floating around on some of the other Cd's which are not great performance wise, there are some dodgy guitar solos and some out of time tracks, however this album is just spot on.
The band have definately proved that they are a force to be reckoned with for live performances. If only I could be so lucky to see one but they barely tour the UK. This album is filled with some great choices for a live album.
Starting with the chilling tones and voiceover of the intro: "Well well, how are you" taken straight from "the end of this chapter" but even more scary than it is on the track. Kicking into "Web allergy" which is a spot on performance just as good as the studio version...
