Live In New York 1992 - Brecker Brothers

Advantages: Amazing powerhouse drumming, long solos.
Disadvantages: All tracks sound stylistically the same.

...This album, Dennis Chambers, a world class drummer plays along with some world class musicians like Scofield (guitar), Michael Brecker (tenor saxophone), Randy Brecker (trumpet), Jim Beard (Clavinet, organ, keyboards and synthesizer) and Will Lee (bass guitar). I've seen Dennis play the drums live and normally when he's playing to a backing track or in a group he plays more drum solos and fills than grooves. But in this album he's actually laying down more grooves and holding them. Dennis chambers typical album consists mainly of funky bass line melodies and funky upbeat drum beats. But in this Outbreak album it's different to all his others. I t was much more brass and saxophone orientated than his usual styles. To me, I think its one of the best fusion albums. Advantages: Live
Disadvantages: It needs more tracks!

...Jeff Buckley has one of the most amazing voices you will ever hear and although Grace might be an excellent album Mystery White Boy is a far better showcase for his talents. His performances live were breathtaking in their range and scope. The songs are given a new lease of life as he stretches and elongates them. The stand out tracks are Grace, Last Goodbye and a lengthy version of Dream Brother. The whole album is superb with a great sound and it makes you wonder just what he would have been doing now. Without a doubt he is a superb live performer and this album demostrates unequivocally there will be no one like him despite the best attempts of imitation vocalists (Muse, even Thom Yorke!) Advantages: Amazing and funny
Disadvantages: Nirvana has become heavily commerical

...Nirvana Live Tonight! Sold out !! [1993] This is live,backstage and interveiws from the three piece band Nirvana. Nirvana was made up of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. They were all from Seattle. Nirvana has had 12 previous members. They started off as an underground grunge band. Kurt Cobain put an end to then production of music by his death which happend 10 years ago. It was realsed 16th June, 1998 This video is great. I got it for a christmas present ,it was purchased off Amazon new and used from £6.00. I first watched this video at one of my friends houses I saw this I loved it. I borrowed the video but it had been smashed around so the top half of it was broken, it still worked but did not play properly all the way through.
