Gong - Wingful of Eyes
*************************
Gong formed in Paris in 1968 after the Australian Daevid Allen was forced to leave Soft Machine because immigration officers refused his re-entry to Britain with his expired Visa. The original lineup of Gong consisted of Daevid Allen, Gilli Smith, Dider Malherbe and, eventually, drummer Pip Pyle. Since the very first Gong recordings of just Allen and Smith the band have gone through in excess of twenty different members and a silly number of line ups. They are still recording and releasing stuff today with their most recent being 'Mothergong O Amsterdam' in 2007.
This album is a compilation that was put together by Mike Howlett (Gong '73-'76) that reflects on Gongs music between 1975 and 1978 (a time where there was no Daevid Allen).

Advantages: Well acted, keeps you engaged throughout Disadvantages: None
LivingIn Oblivion is a low budget independent film written and directed by Tom DiCillo and starring Steve Buscemi and Dermot Mulroney.
Sure, these aren't A-list stars, but that lends itself to the story. If it was a film about the making of a film and you had George Clooney and Brad Pitt pretending to be small time actors you wouldn't believe it. That's why it was better to use less well known actors, it pulls you more into the story.
The film takes place during one day on set of a low budget movie, and documents all the problems that the director, Nick (Buscemi), and everyone else can encounter, from equipment malfunctioning to office politics to actors forgetting their lines. It's almost like a documentary, it is very realistic and gives you the complete story as to what it's like trying to get a film made.

I also work at both the football grounds in the city as a steward, and i see many fans from far and wide and the away supporters often say how wonderful the grounds are and what a delight sheffield people are.
