However, it took an 80-minute coach journey from the airport to Stockholm's central bus station, so if you plan to fly with Ryanair, just bear this in mind. Having said this, the return coach fare was only 200 Kronor for the 110 mile round trip, offering fantastic value for money at just under £15. ...I lived in Stockholm for about 18 months. I'd say possibly the best 18 months of my life. I was a little worried about moving abroad as a 21 year oid. Not only having to take care of myself for the first time but having to survive all that in a foreign country. I was pleasently surprised at how friendly everyone was, and the support they gave me. People love to practice their English with you, at first it's great everywhere you go people will speak in English for you, but as i was living there i wanted to learn the language, which got hard when everyone speaks english too you. The place was extremely clean. It's so nice to walk around a city, exp3ecially a capital and not see rubbish everywhere. Being from England this is especially true. Living in stockholm you get the best of both worlds. You have the vibrant city... Read review

...The number of films which popularise sub-cultures are legion: Elliot and the gang rode BMXs in ET; Harry Potter lead to a surge in boarding school applications; and Indiana Jones made archaeology sexy. But Stacy Peralta has done more than most. Dogtown and the Z-Boys was a superb look into skateboarding genesis (and was notably a pet subject, Peralta being the first skateboarder to land a major sponsorship deal) and Peralta has now followed that up with a brief history of surfing - or more accurately big wave surfing. The film is split into 3 separate sections, concentrating on different surges in popularity of big wave surfing.
