Song List ======== 1. Kinda Love - the first single frm the album released on 18th October - just a week before the album. Got to number 7 in the charts. Kinda love is a jumpy,energetic pop song with easy lyrics to learn and a great video to go with it. This song has grown on me every time I heard it and now it has become one of my favourites. A good one to boogie on down to.
2. Live Twice - released on the 10th January 2005 and only got to No.7 in the charts but should have done much better. Playing Live Twice to his father, he told Darius 'people deserve to hear this song' and so it came to be. This song nearly always brings me close to tears, its so emotional. I love it but cant listen to it when anybodys around as I'll cry. lol
3. How Do You Like It? - What I like about this song is that its different to all the others. I also think the backing singers accompany Darius' voice perfectly.
4. Better Man - A brilliant song. I love the part later parts of the song where Darius tests out his high singing voice. :D and the drums are powerful and add some drama to the song. You could imagine this song in a chick flick or romantic drama.
5. Resolution - I dont actually know many of the words of this song but the music always seems to be stuck in a loop in my head. Another strong, powerful song.
6. Stars Crash Down - Another unusual song, with great vocals and backing singers singing 'do do do' in the background all through the song. At first I thought it was an instrument but listening closer I realised.
7. Save Me - the second ballad on the album and just as emotional as live twice. Probably connected to his fathers illness, which makes the song just as heartfelt as live twice.
8. If I Could - A very sad song, but also very beautiful. A lovely oboe (i think) plays in the background.
9. Only You - Starts off slowly but speeds up as the song goes on. A rock type of song.
10. Love To Love - another one of my favourites. Some nice guitar work and brilliant vocals. I love the lyrics to this song e.g You rock like a hurricane I've been blown by an earthquake Got me feelin' funkin' baby Jumpin' pumpin' lady Crashing like a tidal wave. Also the unusual background music adds to the lyrics and Darius uses his whole vocal range on this song.
11. Journey's End - Another ballad. Doesnt really sound like Darius that much as this song is very high pitched. Still a good song but not as good as the other ballads on this album.
12. Devil In You - This is my favourite song on the whole album. Its has a jazzy feel and suits Darius' voice down to a tee. Sounds like a song from a musical but is hard for females to sing along as his voice goes so low. Nice simple music, but I think this is the best song on the album as Jazz is the style of music that best suits Darius' range.
13. Secret Song (Songwriting Demo) - This is a hidden song- number 13 on the album. I'm not a big fan on this song as it sounds a lot like If I could and is a bit too soppy for me.
Overall this album has a great mix of songs with many different genres, appealing to all people of all ages. Written in a time of great emotion for Darius, these songs are easliy the best songs ever written by Darius. Our hearts go out to you Darius. xxx

Darius has become to be known for his passion of music. After the success of his debut album ''Dive In'', his second ''Live Twice'' is fantastic. ''Live Twice'' features a collection of gentle ballads and pop and rock tracks. Darius shows how good of a voice has, he sings with emotion and passion. ''Kinda Love'' is the first single to be released in the back of this album. ''Kinda Love'' is a pop and rock track. The track it self is very catchy. ... ...good. Well produced as well.
''Live Twice'' is the title track from this album. The song is a nice pop ballad. The chorus is very catchy, Darius sings with emotion. This is very catchy - an excellent track.
''How Do You Like It'' is fantastic. This is a very upbeat pop track, with some rock mixed in as well. The chorus is very catchy, Darius shows how good of a voice he has. The lyrics are good, the musical direction in this song is very song. ...

Advantages: A mature album with a mix of emotions and sytles Disadvantages: It may affect your street cred to admit to liking a Darius album

The title track Live Twice is a song written for Darius' father who is terminally ill with cancer and is written straight from the heart and even the most cynical listener cannot help but be moved by the sentiment and the quality of the songwriting.
How do you like it is a sexy, slightly naughty upbeat song to please the ladies and Better Man with its meaningful lyrcis and great melody could easily be another single off the album. Other ... ...deep voice and Journeys End which is a heart wrenching song written and perfomed simply with raw emotion.
The final song Devil in You sees Darius experiementing with swing and on first hearing you believe that the song must be a cover of an old classic but it is all the more impressive when you consider it is a new song written by Darius.
There is also a secret song on the album but I believe that it should remain a secret until it is discovered ...

Advantages: An excellent listen and much awaited 2nd album Disadvantages: I really can't think of any
...artists, the second would not live up to the first reputation.
Myself and other committed Darius fans (I have been in contact with quite a few from around the country), have been waiting for this promised second album for a such a long time. Having initially expected something new this time last year!! But being true to his fans as Darius is, he has given valid reasons for the delay in us getting him back into our lives again.
The anticipation ... ...the words he sings. Live Twice is my favourite track at the moment. Although dedicated to his Dad and inspired by Booth's recent health issues it could easily translate into a lost love relationship for most of us.
The trepidation. In short. Why ever did I worry!! I remain one of his faithful fans ...

Advantages: Fantastic Variety of songs Disadvantages: It might make you look uncool!!!
...changes as the heart wrenching Live Twice, wrote about his Dad who has terminal cancer, starts to play, the emotion in his voice and anyone who has ever lost someone they love will not be able to keep a dry eye. These songs are amazing and you think how can it get any better but it does, there is the rocky Love to Love, the ballad Better man, and the Jazzy Devil in you amongst others.

Advantages: 12 tracks of heaven-so many styles Disadvantages: NONE! really! its fab!
...moved by track 2 - Live Twice which was written for his dying father. And his new single Kinda Love is the ultimate song to listen to to get you in the dancing mood.
Overall, this album is great to listen to , and i would recommend it to everyone i know.
We've missed you Darius! Hope you're back for good! ...
