...'ve Said No Finally a louder one, a song about how everyone makes bad decisions. Well, putting this song on the CD wasn't one of them! It's hard to listen to this without singing along. 9/10 10 Mary's Song (Oh My My My) This song is written looking back from the perspective of an old woman about her husband who she has known since childhood. Taylor wrote it about a couple who lived next door and have known each other forever. It's a really cute song and tells a nice story. 9/10 11 Our Song Love it! Her third single and first number one, this is really catchy (I defy you to get it out of your head after listening to it!) and upbeat, it's just a really fun song and the lyrics are very relatable . 10/10 A song I downloaded which didn't make it to the CD (either version) is I'd Lie. Advantages: Great live performances

...I have been a fan of the Foo Fighters for many years now, and was eager to get my hands on their live album 'Skin and Bones'. The band were formed by Dave Grohl, the former drummer for Nirvana, in 1995. However, Grohl is the lead singer and guitar maestro for the Foo Fighters, and the drumming seat is taken by Taylor Hawkins, the former tour drummer for Alanis Morrisette. 'Skin and Bones' was released in November 2006, and is the band's first live performance CD, featuring tracks performed on their 3 day tour of the same year. It features hits such as 'Next Year', 'My Hero' and 'Times Like These'. It also features a revamped lineup solely for the tour/album, including former Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear. ...Jane Taylor *****We all Think that her songs are about us…!***** Jane Taylor writes the perfect song. I say this not from a lyrical or phonetically correct standpoint, but simply from the point that she achieves what all artists strive for. Audience connection. It's pretty much instant. She plays a song and every single member of the audience thinks she wrote it just for them. And when you look at the faces around you, you know they are thinking what you are thinking and I think that must be the ultimate buzz for Jane, to look out over her audience and see that. Pretty impressive, I say! I saw Jane Taylor play live for the first time is a very popular Arts Centre in Newcastle called The Cluny.
