Something that I defiantly didn?t expect, if I am quite honest I did not really think much about this DVD. I have always been a fan of Patrick McGuinness right from the start when he appeared in phoenix nights, don?t get me wrong he can be a funny guy but not nearly as funny as I expected. As I had really liked the guy and had also loved it when he had starred in Max and Paddy?s road to nowhere with Peter Kay I couldn?t wait to get my hands on this DVD as I had expected to be rolling round on the floor with laughter like all of the other times that I had seen him with fellow comedian Peter Kay.
Maybe that?s why I thought that he was so good? In those shows he was constantly at the side of Peter Kay which I also admire because of his talent ...
Advantages: Easy to follow, sharply funny Disadvantages: Wish there was more detail in individual stories told
I bought this book ages ago (I think it was only £0.50 from a car-boot sale), I only finished it yesterday, I think it took me a good 2 months to read it; this was mainly due to work and other obligations. The book is adapted from the play version which I have heard has done very well in its target market.
I would read this book again, absolutely, but only if I didn't have other things occupying my time. Its a book that is easy to follow, and that is quite necessary with me as I don't enjoy having to remember too much information :D
I read another book by Frank McGuinness quite some time ago but I don't remember it being as enjoyable as I found "Someone who'll watch over me".

This book is intresting, not particaly one on my favourites but worth reading. I engages the reader but im not sure the storyline is that good. Flint is alright but there should be more action and more of an intrest factor. I think paul eddy definatly could hav done better. Maybe he rushed. But when i read it for the second time i realised it was actually borig, dismal and not ver intresting in my opinion. Mabye he could have used more techniques. the storyline has no meaning no use. Why bother it actually gets even worse, bad, borind unsatisfiying and you read on it isnt worths it is shouldnt be woth buying why why why why why why did it even get published. ...
