Advantages: Easy to listen to and most people will know the words

...I got this CD as a present from my Son for Mother's Day. I had left some major hints about what I would like and so I was very very pleased when I unwrapped my package. I first heard of Journey South through the XFactor and while it was my partner John who really liked them I soon came around to his way of thinking. They had an urgency in their voices and a kind of desperation that you couldn't help but love. Journey South are two brothers from The North. Carl and Andy have played the pub scence for years and had managed to make it into the final of the Xfaxtor. Unfortunatly the final proved too much for them and I believe they lost their nerve. However to come third in a National Competition out of thousands is not too bad. As they came third I thought perhaps that that would be the last we would see of the two boys. However... Read review

Advantages: You wont regret Getting this Album...
Disadvantages: You may have to hear it a couple of times to really like It...

...This is the comeback Album of George Michael, which didn't do very well for him, even though he was successful in getting two singles at No.1 in the U.K Charts, a beautiful ballad titled 'Jesus to a child' and a funky dance hit 'Fastlove'. One could say this album is quite "down beat", if not for the 'Fastlove' track, all the others including 'Spinning the Wheel'(U.K No.2 hit) and 'Older'(U.K No.3) which are soothing tracks that could take you to George Michael wold once again.portray some sort of betrayal. This album was written and produced by George Michael, Under the Aegean record label. I would say this is a good slow poetic album. A song that brought a tear to my eye is the song called 'You have been loved' which has the lines "for what's the use in pressing palms/ when children fade in mother's arms/ it's a cruel world we... ..." Michael Jackson's Thriller is an album that is exhilarating to listen to and one cannot predict the direction of the album. It is an album that takes the imagination on a journey. It reflects the growth and change in Jackson from a kid into an adult. It is as about as off the wall as Michael Jackson is himself. Michael Jackson's Thriller shows the music world how the singing voice can be used as a true musical instrument. Michael Jackson sings from the heart and commits himself completely to the album. Michael Jackson claims this album that is full bodied and wholesome. Some people might be fed up of Michael Jackson and a lot of people dislike Michael Jackson because of some of the stuff he is said to have done.
