After the complete screw up with Batman and Robin and the fundamental failure of the George Clooney as Batman at the box office, some serious rethinking had to be done. Not only did the fans of the Caped Crusader turn there backs on the film but also kept away in there droves making the film itself one of the biggest disasters since Raise the Titanic or Ishtar.
Warner Brothers were somewhat understandably concerned, but also very reluctant to go ahead with a fifth Batman film and decided to can the franchise for the time being, this was quite a sensible decision as this allowed new fans to become accustomed to the more traditional medium of Batman, the comics, due to the damage that this film had done.

The articles in the issue I am referring to for this review come from the August 2007 edition. The following articles are in this issue: Astronaut or Accountant; How Toys Can Predict Your Child's Future Career, Rebel Toddlers; Learn to Love Their Fesity Ways, Long Live The Picture Book and Could You Save Your Child's Life? I find them very interesting and it makes a change to the other magazines I buy.
Another big difference between the magazines is the price. An issue of Junior costs £3.50 in the shops, yet M&B costs just £2.35. However, for the extra £1.15 you get a lot more adult and intellectual reading, which is relevant to mums of children of all ages, not just ...

Little Tikes Junior Activity Gym

Most crèches or children?s play areas seem to have one of these activity gyms and they looked bright and colourful so we decided to get one for my brothers first birthday.
The activity gym as shown in the picture is made up of four side panels, each with holes in for the child to climb through. There is a small bright pink slide and a blue floor, which the children can go under or climb on to go down the slide.
As we unpacked the activity gym it looked relatively simple to assemble, as it was really just a case of slotting the panels together but don?t be fooled! It was not at all easy to assemble although the only consolation is that if it was that difficult to put together its going to be near impossible for it to fall apart! The brightly ...
