ABC Album - Look of love: The Very Best of ABC. Album is a single CD, containing 17 songs, as the title suggests 'The Best of ABC'. Front cover shows Martin Fry reclining in his famous GOLD Suit. Back cover shows the 17 track titles and an empty theatre with just fry's jacket hanging over a chair, suggesting he's on the stage? Inside is a shockingly red CD and small front cover booklet. This contains some information on martin and some of his songs. Centrefold is martin reclining in his shockingly loud gold suit. As with 'Tears for fears', ABC where of the early eighties and had a very distinctive and recognisable sound. Fry was born in 1958 in Manchester. (The Very Best Of R&B Love Songs 2006)

Advantages: good songs
Disadvantages: some songs which i thought maybe shouldnt of been on the cd

To me this album is great!! there isn't a song on it which i dont like! i love all of the songs. i think its a great value of money , you are getting much more for your money! its the type of CD you listen to when your with your girlfriend or your boyfriend, as it contains love songs (which its called) but you can also listen to it if your single as it contains songs which everyone loves. there are a few songs which i felt maybe shouldnt of been there as they was break up songs but i guess its stil a love song, i would reccommend anyone who is into this type of music to go and buy it as its a brilliant album! the quality of this album was at a good standard. ...

Blackstreet - The very best of

Advantages: The best of Blacksteet
Disadvantages: Could have had a couple more?

Released in 2003, Blacksteet had already been around a number of years but only had released 3 albums, all with mixed reviews. The main stay of this group is Teddy Riley is also known for writing songs for various artists including Michael Jackson and New Kids On the Block! Throughout the years, we've seen the line up change here and there with original member Dave Hollister going solo and other guys coming and going. The release of this album was in my eyes perfectly timed as a short while after this Teddy Riley went nuts, ok not actually mad, but his writing and musical style changed considerably to fit in with the Timbalands and Pharrells of thie world. His experimenting in production took a turn for the worst and this cd really does capture Blackstreet when they were at their best, r&b,coming out the end of the new jack swing era ...
