Advantages: A taste of delicious melancholy Disadvantages: Some insipid lyrics
...Bird', with lines like "just like that little bird / it's time for me to fly" veers perilously close). She could usefully adopt some humour and wordplay from her songwriting heroes. She'd also benefit from the more rough-and-ready approach of a producer like Nick Lowe (who has worked with Chrissie Hynde). But such weaknesses can be forgiven. After all, this is a debut album, and a very assured one at that. If subsequent outings improve on this, they'll be impressive indeed.
So if you fancy a taste of delicious melancholy wrapped in strong, bittersweet melodies; if you value a voice whose soul is evident, not stuck into the album title by marketing types, you'll enjoy A Girl Called Eddy. Catch her if you can, she's goin' back.

..., Bryan, Kian, Nicky and Mark. They were signed by Simon Cowell and are currently managed by Louis Walsh. Since their formation the bands music has greatly evolved and moved from teen pop to contempary adult music. In 2004 Bryan left the band to work on solo projects but despite rumours the rest of the band carried on performing and are still performing today. Advantages: A couple of big Grime tracks Disadvantages: Inconsistent
...**
5. "Boy"
I was never gogin to get into this one, It has him trying out a little Grindie (Grime and Indie fusion), alongside Babyshambles. I have to say that I felt his rhymes, but the whole Babyshambles thing just never came close to being soemthing that I would like to listen to, and it seemed as though he wasted some decent bars on poor backing.

This one has him doing an even deeper Grindie cut as he collaborates with Kate Nash, and does things to some typical Indie instrumentals, but it really made things sound work. The way he trials Nash's unique style of delivering the lyrics made it all fall apart, so it left it as a flop of a track.
**One Star**
7. "Come Up"
We finally get a break from the weak work from him, and it seemed as though he got right back to the top of his game as he does...
