Advantages: A most engrossing story and a great introduction to this author Disadvantages: Another author to add to my list of favourites!
...with the rest of the story; particularly with Sam's quite self-deprecating attitude. It is not a style I would have expected, nor would I have thought it so apt and "in tune" with the thriller genre.
There is certainly plenty of action, and we are kept guessing throughout the book. This is another one that I really couldn't put down. I would put McCoy in a league with James Patterson, THAT is how good I thought the book was. And from me that's some compliment!
I definitely recommend this to thriller fans, you will not be disappointed. And I will be looking for more books by this author.
You can get this from Amazon for £13.99, which is £6.00 less than the marked price. It is also available from their Marketplace from £11.30. It is quite a new book (April 2008) so you may well be limited with other sources, but you can probably get it from...

Advantages: Good Acting, Amusing Disadvantages: Stale Script
...opens you to the truth that everybody isn?t nice, some people go out of their way to hurt you, and you just have to separate yourselves from them. I like Paul; he isn?t trying to be anybody else but him. Just wish he?d do something with his hair!

Advantages: Dan Aykroyd and Everclear Disadvantages: Dan Aykroyd and Everclear not being in it enough!

I’d heard “Teenage Dirtbag” by Wheatus, found out that it was from this American film starring Mena Suvari (the naked one from American Beauty) and Jason Biggs (the pie-humping one from American Pie) and I figured it should be worth a look. Apparently I was the only one in the UK who totally missed it’s cinema release, because on today’s trip to my local Blockbuster, Loser was residing in the “£3.50 for 2 Nights” section. Considering the airplay the single received, you would have thought it would have merited more publicity for it’s cinema release on that basis alone, but I missed it totally!
PLOT – No Major Spoilers But Feel Free To Skip!
Jason Biggs plays Paul Tannek, a small town guy on a scholarship to a New...
