Lords Have Mercy - Lords Of Altamont

Advantages: Male and Female rappers
Disadvantages: a few boaring songs

...I was first introduced to The Flip Mode squad whilst drunk at a mates party. I thought it was so good i went to the shops then next day, found the album and bought it. I was shocked to discover the main singer and producer was none other than Busta Rhymes. I think that this album is really good and there is male and female rappers in there, Rah Digga being the female, Busta, Rampage, Lord Have mercy, Baby Sham, Spliff star being the males. It is full of intresting songs and piss-yourself-lauging inserts. Defently worth the tenner they are asking for it in most shops.... Read review

Advantages: Good tracks, UK version has both versions of Ante Up

...I prefer the remix overall. Several other artists appear on the Warriorz album, they include Busta Rhymes, Remy Martin, Tephlon as I said before, but also Product G & B, Funk Master Flex and Lord Have Mercy appear in the album. There are several tracks on this album that I didn’t like at first but after some playing they grew on me and now I really like them, other tracks I instantly liked. Some of my favourite from the album other than “Cold as Ice” and “Ante Up” are “Follow Instructions”, “Operation Lockdown”, “Background Niggaz” and “On the Front Line”. There are also several other top tracks that make Warriorz and album that any hip hop fans should definitely get. If you liked Ante Up or Cold as Ice, you will love this album.... Read review

Advantages: Raw and real!
Disadvantages: Perhaps a bit too raw in places

Anaesthesia (pulling teeth) - That's right, a bass solo, some intriguing noises produced and a sign of what could have been bar a tragic accident ending Burton's life after just 3 albums 6) Whiplash - another song that sets a pace and doesn't relent, open those windows and turn up the volume 7) Phantom lord - not my favoured track, but hey few albums are full of great songs 8) No remorse - an early anti-war song, about people just going off to kill for the sake of it - "No mercy for what we are doing No thought to even what we have done" 9) Seek and destroy - a Metallica classic that will have you yelling along and banging your head 10) Metal Militia - a fast paced, trash metal track to end a truly quality album Available on Amazon for £10.99, not the best indicator of Metallica overall and perhaps the following albums Ride the Lightening...
