Patrick is left to wonder why he has been watched and filmed. Is someone out to harm him? Will anything else happen? Is his wife safe?
And then the emails start to arrive. Patrick is given 'tasks' to carry out such as being directed to a builidng and told to "Go alone, do what wesay, or she dies"
What follows surprises Patrick as he carries out what is asked of him and nothing bad or untoward actually happens to him. In fact it is the opposite, as Patrick actually feels he is doing good, and wonders if he has in fact been chosen for some reason to help people.
He remains confused, he has no answers nor any idea what is happening or why.
Should he refuse to complete any more tasks until he has answers? And what will happen ...

In the supporting roles, Lili Taylor - as Lloyd's best friend Corey, gives us just the right mix of caring and neurotic, and provides an amusing and touching side plot with ex-boyfriend Joe, who she is hopelessly in love with and cannot seem to let go. It's a role played to clueless and self-absorbed perfection by Loren Dean.
Lloyd: "Joe. Joe. She's written 65 songs... 65. They're all about you. They're all about pain."
Joe: "So what's up?".
The film has dated fairly well - its main themes remain fresh and relevant even twenty years on. That said, it is written very much from the teenage perspective, so those for whom it has little nostalgia value may want to knock ...

'Lose All Time' is the second album from Canadian five piece You Say Party We Say Die and their first for legendary British indie label Fierce Panda. Recorded at the Lab Monkey Studios in Vancouver with debut album engineer Shawn Cole, the album sees the band stick to the infectious indie-punk-dance sound that graced 2006's 'Hit The Floor' and saw them likened to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the B52s.
