Additional notes
Album Notes: 'Lose All Time' is the second album from Canadian five piece You Say Party We Say Die and their first for legendary British indie label Fierce Panda. Recorded at the Lab Monkey Studios in Vancouver with debut album engineer Shawn Cole, the album sees the band stick to the infectious indie-punk-dance sound that graced 2006's 'Hit The Floor' and saw them likened to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the B52s.
Advantages: You are telling me what my reviews are telling you, about me. Disadvantages: l'm making myself vulnerable . . . again!
...of products too, and I would say (and I do hope I'm right in this perception!!) that your Christianity is evident too. Admirably so. Two reviews on peanut butter...an American influence maybe? Anyway I don't know if this is the sort of thing you wanted but get back to me if you want to ask me anything more specific. Cheers for now, Caroline xx
PS thanks for your lovely comment about the titles of my reviews, I do try to put a bit of thought into them! PPS You don't look like a Granny from your picture ;-) carcraig 18.04.2008 23:23

TANGERINE: Well...I think you have quite some DVD reviews and food and drink review, it tells me that you are a homey person who likes staying at home, that you love your family and like spending good time with them. I can tell you from all the past few months we were talking and chatting together...

Advantages: Engaging characters. Great quotes. Emotionally fulfilling. Disadvantages: Eighties fashion.
...on Lloyd and Diane's first date when driving home from a graduation party:
Diane: "Nobody knew me before tonight"
Lloyd: "They knew of you. Now they know you."
In the supporting roles, Lili Taylor - as Lloyd's best friend Corey, gives us just the right mix of caring and neurotic, and provides an amusing and touching side plot with ex-boyfriend Joe, who she is hopelessly in love with and cannot seem to let go. It's a role played to clueless and self-absorbed perfection by Loren Dean.
Lloyd: "Joe. Joe. She's written 65 songs... 65. They're all about you. They're all about pain."
Joe: "So what's up?".
The film has dated fairly well - its main themes remain fresh and relevant even twenty years on. That said, it is written very much from the teenage perspective, so those for whom it has little nostalgia value may want to knock...

Advantages: New Material Disadvantages: Poor Material
...About a year ago I heard that Fleetwood Mac who are my alltime favourite band were to reform to make a new album. Sadly the lovely Christine McVie refused to participate in the album or the following tour and so the alltime classic Fleetwood Mac line up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsay Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie became fragmented.
So was it worth the wait? Lets see shall we.
Track 1 *** What?s the world coming to.
A worthy introduction into the album finds Buckingham in a relaxed easy mood with superb percussion backing as I have come to expect from Mick Fleetwood.
Track 2 *** Murrow turning over in his grave (Buckingham)
A dark and heavy track from Buckingham perhaps it?s best summed up by a line from the lyrics ?Blood in the sky are you dead or alive? and to my mind this track is definitely...
