Disadvantages: Doesnt help you get through the housework

A cd thats a couple of years old now but still fun to listen to. I mean this cd says its meant to help you through the housework but I personally dont think it really does,if anything it distracts you,because you just start singing along to all the great tracks this album has to offer, you get caught up in the music and completely lose track of what you were doing - maybe a good thing in a way :-) Housework vol 1 is a double album that has some cracking songs that you just dont seem to hear on the radio anymore such as The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda and Don McLeans - American Pie. The songs on this album just make you feel good and really help to lift your spirits,but I honestly think its marketed wrong,this is a feel good album for anyone just not people doing the housework.I dont think the title of the album really represents ...

The OC Vol. 1

Advantages: Great songs
Disadvantages: Lack of well-known artists may put some people off.

The soundtrack to the OC has always been one of the major selling points of the television series. This CD features 12 of the tracks found on the soundtrack of the television series. The CD includes the hugely popular theme song "California" by Phantom Planet as well as other songs from the series. My personal favourites include Alexi Murdoch's "Orange Sky" and the brilliant "We Used To Be Friends" by the Dandy Warhols. The mixture of styles of music makes for a unique CD, and the songs all fit perfectly into the album. This CD is essential for any fan of the television series and the songs will bring back memories of some of the show's most memorable moments. Highly recommended ...

Advantages: A great combination of humour, sightseeing, social commentary and invective
Disadvantages: Not enough on the western states

would be today, and the tale of how he tries in vain to find decent radio coverage of the 1987 stock market crash seems to come from another age entirely This problem only affects small parts of the book, however, and his complaints about the way over-commercialisation and the cult of the car have killed, or at least maimed, small-town American life remain as relevant today as ever they were, if not more so. It is of course an irony surely not lost on Bryson that he is making these complaints whilst driving many, many miles on a not strictly necessary odyssey of his own. There is both comedy and poignancy to be found in the sometimes awkward combination of Bryson's progressive social and political opinions - he is not shy of making fun of one particular childhood Republican neighbour - and the nostalgia he displays for his 1950s upbringing ...
