Advantages: Good value future trance from the masters Disadvantages: CD2 is slightly repetitive
...Title: Gatecrasherdigitaltrance
Mixed by Scott Bond
Having given the CD a final play through and downed my Yoda sized light sabre (also known as a glow stick) I feel ready to review. The first four Gatecrasher albums were fantastic and since then I have purchased all the others without even a look at the play list because you are almost guaranteed class, all that aside, I can quite confidently say that digital trance is my favourite album for some time.
Packaging:
As with all Gatecrasher albums, the packaging and appearance of the CD plays a very important role. Obviously you don’t buy an album solely on its packaging but when you are starring at the music shelf in Tesco’s and it’s a toss up between 2 seemingly similar compilations, packaging can influence your decision. Digital Trance comes in a different way to previous...

Advantages: Melodic and catchy, the solos are back! Disadvantages: bland, not as good as previous work

Advantages: Feeder's best album to date, some incredible songs and pouring of emotions. Disadvantages: Some will find it all too much - a fairly depressing listen.
...A band's music, providing that they take the time to craft their own songs, is a direct result of their personal highs and lows. Feeder's fourth release, the aptly titled 'Comfort In Sound', is the personification of this as it was the first offering following the tragic suicide of drummer Jon Lee on January 7th, 2002.
It was hardly a shock that this album lost the groups previous rocky sound, for the most part. 'Comfort In Sound', when you listen to it, is an album in which lead singer Grant Nicholas grieves openly about his regret at his lost friend and sometimes it pours out like a gaping wound. Such feeling is understandable, of course; being friends with a person for such a long time - especially when you work closely with them - you'd begin to re-examine the situation in your head time after time. Grant did do this and revealed...
