Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: Takes a while for the bangers to come in
Soon after his ?Stillmatic? album came out, in 2002 the New York MC Nas decided to bring out more material as ?The LostTapes?, in which he was seen to (rather than come out with a brand new album) compile a collection of all the best tunes which hadn?t made their way onto ?...I Am?, ?Nastradamus? and the 2001 album which reminded people why he created such a buzz with his 1994 debut release.
1. ?Doo Rags?
He gets the album going with a fresh tune to guide listeners in. It is a calm one and features some gentle production to ease people on here as he gives you a chance to just enjoy life with a feel-good recording here. It is a tune which reflects the fact that here he was just messing around this material and came up with a light tune to escape what you typically get in a rhyme set from the Queensbridge native.

Advantages: great taste Disadvantages: not for people with nut allergies
Topic was always one of my favourite chocolate bars as a teenager, and funnily enough I strayed to them again at the weekend while doing my lottery number's, It's been a while since I bought one and was a bit shocked at the price, I paid 41p for a 41g bar at my local costcutter store and once I had paid for my daughter's jelly tots I didn't have much change from a £1.
The chocolate bar comes in a red wrapper with white wording on the front, it's rectangular in shape and contains hazelnuts, nougat and caramel, and they are made by the well known brand mars.
I like mine straight from the fridge as I think the nougat tastes better a little hard and as I took my first bite It bought back all the memories I had of it. I eat mine in an unusual way as I suck it in my mouth until the chocolate, nougat and caramel have dissapeared ...

Advantages: Lots of history, plenty to see and do Disadvantages: Some areas are not suitable for disabled visitors
Whitby is a small fishing town in the north east of England and in my opinion it is one of the most beautiful picturesque seaside locations in this part of England. The town itself has a real old worldly feel to it with its bustling narrow streets and each week thousands of visitors descend on the town to soak up its charm. At the heart of Whitby is its harbour and without this harbour there is no doubt that Whitby would not be the wonderful place that we find today.
The town grew up along the two opposite banks of the River Esk, which is spanned by a swing bridge that was constructed in 1908. It is however known that a bridge has spanned this river since medieval times, whilst the town itself predates that by a further thousand years or more. Whitby's most famous landmark, its abbey was built in the year 657AD.
Today, Whitby ...

Album Notes
Previously unreleased. Personnel: Ramblin' Jack Elliott; Robert Wylie. Recording information: 05/14/1957. Full of previously unreleased material, THE LOST TOPIC TAPES contains some of Ramblin' Jack Elliott's earliest recordings, drawing from the same sessions that resulted in Elliott's first albums, for England's Topic label. These 1957 tracks capture a 25-year-old Elliott making informal between-song comments, displaying plenty of youthful verve, and interpreting songs by Woody Guthrie, with whom he had already traveled. Guthrie's influence is obviously strong here, but just as evident is the effect Elliott would have in a few years on a young Bob Dylan. The similarities between Elliott, as captured here, and Dylan three or four years later is striking. Elliott's combination of spirited whimsy, deep folk roots, and dramatic intensity made him a hero to the mid-'50s UK trad-folk crowd, who'd been primed by Lonnie Donegan's skiffle sound, but Donegan could never have prepared anyone for what Elliott's coming would portend.
Album Reviews
Mojo (p.95) - 4 stars out of 5 - "Ramblin' Jack was the conduit between Bob and his hero Woody Guthrie."
Uncut (p.74) - 3 stars out of 5 - "[T]here are plenty of Guthrie numbers, several of which Dylan was also soon to sing. The similarity is astonishing."
