How does it compare to the artist's other releases
I went to see this film and loved it. However, i am not a great one for noticing the soundtrack from a film, usually due to being too absorbed in the plot - of course, and especially so, with this film, this time was no different. I already knew and liked some of the songs that were in the film through publicity from the artist, Girls Aloud, Sugababes... but when i was given this album for Christmas and listened to it for the first time, i truly enjoyed all the songs. I can really appreciate the good choice of songs for the soundtrack now, as when i hear each song it reminds me of different parts in the film that i could really relate to. Its also a great album as it has both songs you can sing along to (after hearing it a few times you know most of the songs well enough to have a good old kareoke sesh with your hairbrush!) and songs that make you feel that someone else out there DOES understand what you feel! I really think this soundtrack is one of the best ive heard in a while. It doesnt seem to peter out towards the end, as some do, when they seem to need to fill up the CD, and so leaves us with an album full of quality music.
