After seeing the movie i rushed out to get a copy of the Soundtrack - BIG mistake. The only good songs on the album are Kelly Clarkson and Sugababes, apart from them the rest is really really poor, Billy Mack's 'Christmas is all around' makes you loathe the original song 'love is all around'. I personally found this album a total let down, although there are some great artists on it like Eva Cassidy, Gabrielle, Dido, Texas and Norah Jones, for me it just didn't work as an album. To be perfectly honest i have listened to it twice now - the second time was because i thought i had played the wrong cd the first time! unfortunately i hadn't.

I got the album before I watched the film and after watching it I saw how it all fitted together and i loved it. It is a bit of a strange collection though. For a higher rating you need to list the songs and tell us what makes it a bad album for you. You basically need to bad up what you say and it will be a good review
Advantages: Great Variety ot songs from ones like Jump ( for my love) covered by GIrls Aloud to jump around to, to Norah Jones' Turn me on when you want to chill out! Disadvantages: A few Christmas songs on its so it means using the remote to flick through!

Review of Love, Actually (Soundtrack)
Advantages: Good mixture of songs Disadvantages: As with many compilation albums, less well known songs are put towards the end of the album implying they are less good than the more well known ones
Advantages: songs on the soundtrack actually appear in film, not just inspired by. Disadvantages: THAT christmas song!
