Advantages: Cheap, Lovely Setting, Comfortable Surroundings, Good Food & Atmosphere! Disadvantages: None that I can think of!
Being a student (cheap, obviously hard working and out for those bargains!) I often find myself drawn to drinking establishments in true student fashion. Now as funds can be rather limited, especially as it draws nearer to the end of term, one has to go where one can sample cheap drinks and where better than Lloyds! I typically visit this particular Lloyds about once a week, sometimes for dinner but mostly just for pre-clubbing drinks!

Advantages: A couple of hits. Strong vocals throughout Disadvantages: Tries too hard to do things out of his range
"Lessons In Love" is Lloyd (Polite)'s, third album. From my perspective, it has been his most anticipated as he came with some big singles since his debut "Southside" to give us "Get It Shawty", "You", and big singles from this album. Something which sets this one apart from the other two albums is that he has been getting a lot of UK airtime before the release with "How We Do It", which features Ludacris, and the compulsory Lil' Wayne contribution on "Girls Around The World".
1. "Sex Education"
I found this to be a good way to start the album, but not something which really eases you into his music. I felt that it was quite immediately as we seem to be getting straight into the core ideas of the album as he begins it with a sexual education tutorial to kick us off.

Advantages: A charming and a must read book - a love story with a difference Disadvantages: Leaves you with a strong desire to visit Capri - one that is very hard to quell!!
I am ashamed to say as a woman in her (very) late 50's I love the old chick-lit, fluffy book, and I also love books by Belinda Jones.
I was given this book several years ago by my eldest daughter, after she had sung its praises and had a mad desire to board a plane and set off for Capri straight away !!
As any chick-lit reader will know the cover of a book ( well sometimes you can judge a book by its cover !!) can be the thing that draws you to the book, and so it is with this book - a real 'girlie', glitzy cover that says 'read me' on the front!!
After a recent visit to the Bay of Naples and the wonderful island of Capri, I decided to re-read this little jem, hence my review on it now.
However my review comes with a wealth warning --- reading this book will send you running to the travel agents to book the next flight to ...

Album Reviews
Living Blues (1-2/00, p.102) - "...Jones plays guitar in a fleet, bright manner, but the spotlight is kept squarely on the disc's excellent song choice and pleasantly unaffected vocals." Q Magazine (3/00, p.102) - 3 stars out of 5 - "Goodtime blues offering few surprises, Lloyd Jones still does this kind of thing better than most..."
