to the original whatsoever, in name only. Its of a slower tempo and ODB's raps dont do anything and have no relation to the original Something Happened On The Way To Heaven - Deborah Cox. Another poor addition, poor vocals and the arrangement is poor. I could be a little harsh with this one but when you have an idea of what it should sound like and then get ruined you get a bit annoyed This Must Be Love - Dane Bowers & Kelis. Suprisingly good track. A good duet and well arranged, im sticking my neck on the line here and saying that it could be better than the original. And this is with Dane Bowers singing the lead In The Air Tonight - Lil Kim. Queen Pen and 2pac both did versions of this on their albums in the past and this one sounds similar. I suppose you need to keep that drum line in there without fail and this has done that ...

Ultimate Experience or Mediocre Mentality?

Advantages: Jam packed, well presented, great inclusions.
Disadvantages: 1 or 2 naff tracks but you can't please everyone!

Basics became anthemic with it's catchy lyric sampling, and strong female vocals, as well as it's boogie-style beats. More of a disco style number than it's predecessor Lola's Theme, which was a more concentrated trance track. Freeloaders: So Much Love To Give. Yet another club hit, it's one of those cover dance versions that you can't help liking, Best in the car with the volume up and the windows down. Classic house track with a light melody. Uniting Nations: You & Me Sounds very similar to their debut single, Out of Touch, with what seems like super-imposed lyrics, but has a steady dance beat and sounds good with a bit of bass emphasis. Digitally enhanced with a catchy melody and mediocre mixing is all what makes it Another Commerical club hit! Which is probably why it's so popular! There are some other great inclusions ...

Ultimate Drum And Bass Album - Various Artists

Advantages: loads of tracks
Disadvantages: some seem quite dated

A six CD box set which showcases a huge selection of tracks from the drum and bass scene. Drum and bass has gained huge popularity over the years and has gained alot of followers thanks to its breaknecks speeds of drums, bass and sample ridden madness. These tracks show you what is all about and my gosh there is alot of them. The tracks span right back to the early nineties and some can sound very dated but interesting nether the less. Producers which stand out on the album are the big heavy weights such as 'Dillinja' with his awesome track 'Grimey' with its huge pitch bending bass synth and the unforgettable vocal sample, this one will keep you going till the early hours. Then there is J-magik, with his equally powerful but more jazzy power rhythms. If your a fan of this hi speed music you will defenitely find this box set ...
