Advantages: A superb introduction to the Emerald Isle's walking possibilities... Disadvantages: ...so long as you've been previously introduced to walking in the first place
...Wouldn't it be lovely if it was possible to discover a new country entirely at one's own pace? Cruising around at random, going where your whims and fancies took you...staying awhile ('a while' being 'as long as you like') at all the secret and wonderful places you happened upon, drinking in the mystery and the culture...and feeling steered by the vagaries and quirks of fate.
Unfortunately, most of us don't get to live our lives like 'A Year In Provence'. Most ordered, salaried existences have limited spare time and are crippled by the fact that recent economic events make spending money that you don't actually have a bit trickier than it used to be. Our leisure, our holidays, need to be accompanied by a bit more of a quality guarantee than pure chance supplies, and so it's wise to seek the advice of a knowledgeable authority...

Advantages: Beautiful period piece with a great cast and there are sword fights guys. Disadvantages: It's a girly, romantic film and nothing blows up. Sorry guys.
...Another Sunday on my own has rolled around (husband on a stag do in the Peak District) so it's time for another girly film review. Sorry men! I am realising that my taste in film may be coming across as a little shallow, but in 1998 everyone fell inlove with "Shakespeare inLove" which went home from the Oscars with 7 awards including Best Picture. Advantages: Fantastic service, well looked after, prompt and efficient staff Disadvantages: Had to wait for a bit, but not as long as I was expecting!
...A&E fills me with dread. I do kind of work with the it's not an emergency, it can wait, and therefore I'm going to be stuck there for hours to be potentially told to rest it and it'll be fine, which is frustrating, for me and the staff I imagine! I've also been on the other side and rushed in as an emergency on more than a few occasions, so I really do think it's right that I'd have to wait whilst priority cases are sorted out, and I don't want to be wasting anyone's time! On the other hand I know going to my GP will result in me being told to go to A&E to get it checked, so don't really see the point in that either!
Then a friend suggests I go down to the "Minor Injuries Walkin Centre" at the other local hospital. (St. Mary's in Portsmouth) For some reason, I'd not even thought about it, but it was definitely the best option...
