...What do you think of when you hear the name Michael J. Fox? Do you remember the charismatic young and rather diminutive lead in Back to The Future? Or the smart and funny comedian of Spin City? Or rather do you picture the Michael J. Fox of September 1998 as he announced to the worlds media that he had the degenerative neurological disease Parkinsons? Me? Well I will confess to having been horrified to witness Fox stutter and twitch his way through that announcement and felt the stinging irony of the ever-youthful looking actor being the victim of the relatively rare ?young on-set? version of this debilitating disease. ...I have finally finished the Michael J Fox biography that I started a few weeks ago, and I have been toying with the idea of reviewing it. On one hand, its a wonderful story, heart-felt and true. But on the other hand, I know that no matter how much time and effort I put into writing this review, it will never be enough. No matter how much of my heart and soul I put into this piece, I will never do Michael J. Fox or his biography justice. However, if even one person goes and reads this story, it will be worth it. He is an inspiration, a truely Lucky Man! 'Lucky Man' sounds like a very strange title. How could it be lucky to be struck down with Parkinsons Disease at the tender age of thirty? How can it possibly be constued as lucky to suffer the debilitating symptoms of Parkinsons Disease when you have a young family. Whats so... Read review
