I think this is a good song and really liked it ... ...style of singing that makes Lucky 'her' song ; I don't think no one else could sing this. Although I like this song , I must admit that it is quite cheesy. My least favourite part of the song is when the man says 'And The Winner Is Lucky'. I think it's quite cringey and unnecessary to have that in a song. Although , on the other hand, I guess it adds more to the story.

* Who Is Britney Spears * Britney Jean Spears is an American pop star who has been active in the music world since 1999 when she burst on to the scene with her well-known song 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' wearing a school uniform. Britney was born on December 2nd in 1981 to parents Jamie and Lynne in Mississipi although she grew up in Kentwood , Louisianna. She was an accomplished gymnast and dancer and took part on the Mickey Mouse Club televsion show alongside fellow popstars Christina Aguilera and her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Britney and Justin dated for four years but split up in 2003.Rumours say that Britney cheated on Justin , due to the reason that in Justin's 'Cry Me A River' video there was a girl who had exactly the same features as Britney , e.g the hair.In this video this girl had been cheating on him , so he cheated on her and filmed it so she could see it. Britney married Jason Allen Alexander who was one of her life long friends.Their marriage lasted just over 50 hours. Britney then married dance Kevin Federline , who she has now divorced.Together they have two children : two year old Sean Preston and one year old Jayden James.Kevin currently has custody of the two children. Britney has sold an estimated eighty three million records worldwide and she was once named the most powerful popstar.

I think this is a good song and really liked it at it's time of release.. This is definitely Britney's Old sound! She even sings differently these days ? She sounds very nasally on this song and as though she is singing on a walky-talky kind of thing , the way her voice sounds. Her vocals aren't that clear , but clear enough to be able to make out what she's singing about. To be honest , this song is probably the song which I dislike listening to Britney singing this. I don't think this song shows Britney's full vocal-potential , although it is a fun song! I think it's Britney's style of singing that makes Lucky 'her' song ; I don't think no one else could sing this. Although I like this song , I must admit that it is quite cheesy. My least favourite part of the song is when the man says 'And The Winner Is Lucky'. I think it's quite cringey and unnecessary to have that in a song. Although , on the other hand, I guess it adds more to the story. One thing I do like about this song is it's sweetness. It's such a cute song and the lyrics are interesting. I suppose in a way it is good to have a story in a song instead of a bunch of lines which don't actually mean anything. In case you weren't aware. Lucky is about a famous film star called Lucky who has everything ; success , beauty , and wealth. Although , she appears to be happy to the world , when she's alone at night she cries. Looking back , was this a cry for help earlier on in her career ? Or am I just looking to far into things ? Lucky is definitely a girlie song! With it's sweet lyrics and cute story. I like how this song has an innocent feel to it. It's a bit like a fairy tale story. In this song , it's as though Britney really connects with the audience and because Britney is telling the story of and watching the character Lucky , in a way , when watching the video , I somewhat feel as if I know Britney , which I suppose is a good thing if you're a massive Britney fan! I recommend this song! It's pure pop and perfect for a kids party although I think it is quite a hard song to dance to , but nevertheless still a good song for a party!
I have never liked Britney Spears or any of her songs. This one seems to be a little arrogant (the lyrics are all about her life and how pretty she is...grr), it has a good tune. Maybe it does sound fairly similar to every other single she has done because of the bass riff and back beat, but I can't really knock this as it is actually half decent. If all of her songs were this good then maybe people would have a reason to admire her as much as they ...

Review of Lucky - Britney Spears
I bought this product the day it was out here in Australia, I heard that it was a beautiful song and it has proved it. I listened to it straight away when i got home from the cd store and it is beautiful. The best thing about this song is the theme it represents. Talking about the real feelings of a famous actress or singer. Explaining that being famous and rich isn't everything. The type of person to buy this product is the type of person who believes ...

Advantages: Good track - it'll go far Disadvantages: Much of the same - but everyone loves it!
Yes, I'm knackered. I'm writing this immediately after staying up until 3:30am to hear what I hope to be the first full play of Britney's new single - Lucky. From what I gather it's about a celebrity, who everyone thinks has it made, but infact leads an unhappy life when away from the cameras. Just maybe Britney's trying to tell us something, or maybe I'm just analysing too deeply.
Basically it'll be an instantaneous hit with all of her followers ... ...The tune is catchy and the lyrics all rhyme perfectly and make sense to any pop fan - typical Britney, she's done it yet again. A downside of this is another rather dull interlude after the second chorus with a lot of talking.
This is bound to be a hit so prepare to see Britney back up where she belongs. I've already got it on Minidisk so I won't be at Virgin on August 14th but there will be long queues - the teen-bopper is still in demand, give ...

Advantages: Catchy tune Disadvantages: Theme of lyrics is a bit aged
I can’t say I’ve ever managed to work out what men see in Britney. She’s not that much to look at, and without her make-up and hair artists no-one would give her a second glance. By and large, however, her music is often OK.
‘Lucky’ will probably be a hit purely because of her loyal fan base, but I think it is a good song in its own right. The tune has a slightly familiar feel to it – some parts remind me a bit of The Spice Girls’ ‘Stop Right Now’, ... ...lyrics rake over the old chestnut about the loneliness of stardom they don’t go into too much depth and keep the track light, poppy and catchy. I wouldn’t go so far as to spend money on this single, but it’s a good one to listen to on the radio and won’t do Britney’s career any harm. ...

If you have heard this single, LUCKY, you will agree that this is another great song by BRITNEY SPEARS, I enjoyed this song a lot, and i believe it will do really well, but when i saw the video i was so over whelmed as not only is the song absolutely great but the video is a must see too.
The video shows all the emotion portrayed in the song and Britney Spears is sensational, like in all her other videos.
I believe she will go far for she has the ...

Advantages: Got here to sleep Disadvantages: It took five tracks
Over the weekend I decided to listen to my new Brit Awards Album, while trying to get our baby to sleep. She was crying her little eyes out but as soon as I pressed play and Walking Away by Craig David came on she stopped crying immediately, which was a good start then Sky by Sonique came on and I am convinced she was moving her little body in time to the music. But that all stopped when Fool Again from Westlife started and she decided to start to drop off to sleep.
But as soon as Lucky by BritneySpears started in was crying fro the three plus minutes of the track and she was only quite when Pure Shores from All Saints started. Then it was a little dance to She Bangs by Ricky Martin and then she slept for the rest of the album.
Well that is what Jessica thought, personally I thought it was a very surprising album as the Brit ...
Advantages: suits the actual program "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", it rocks, loads of songs, very well put together Disadvantages: a bit expensive
I don't really like this song much. It's a very light rock song and the lyrics don't change alot, but I thought I'd mention it because it's not a bad song overall
Velvet Chain - Strong : Very good acoustic guitar melody at the start. It's a sad minor piece, yet the tempo changes in a flowing pace
Hepburn - I Quit : The woman singing in this song has a very good voice, and the way she says "I quit" kind of sticks in my mind
Furslide - Over My Head : Reasonably good. That is all I can say
Bif Naked - Lucky : No it's not BritneySpears. This song is far better than anything she can do. Amazing guitar strumming.
Black Lab - Keep Myself Awake : Finally a song that have a bloke singing in it. It's very addictive and the change in louds and soft is very well varied, with very good deepish voice singing.

Advantages: Good start off tracks Disadvantages: goes downhill from there
Well, as chart singles go, Britney sure belts out a catchy number or two. I have liked every single one of them except the apalling 'sometimes', and having avoided buying the first album i thought i would give this one a go. Hmmmm....
The first comment that would come into mind would be 'very samey'. From the start of track one to the end of the album, each single carries the same rhythm that lets you know yhat you are listening to a BritneySpears track. The chart singles 'ooops! i did it again', 'Lucky' and 'Stronger' are by far the stand out tracks with 'Stronger' being my fave. Britney tries her very, very best to belt out a good ballad, but sadly the results are not very good. A couple of other lively tracks such as 'dont go knocking on my door' lack that catchy element that the chart singles have, but do plod on quite nicely ...
