The text is very simple and features on the left hand side. The words ? If I were a grown up I would like to be a ???? are featured with each drawing on the left hand side so there is a lot of repetition for youngsters to learn and recognise. My grandchildren enjoy reading this book my granddaughter who is 3 years old knows the words by heart but I have to watch my grandson with the book as he rather clumsily turns the pages and has in the past ripped pages and I think with one of the pages being smaller than the others he would struggle to turn it and miss it out altogether - either that or he would... Advantages: nice bright colours, strong and strudy, small and compact to even travel with

...After seeing and finding out for myself how popular the in the night garden TV show on cbeebies had become and how addicted my 2 year old daughter had become with watching the show, at the time I thought it would be a good idea to buy her the character figurines from eBay for around £11.50. When the characters finally come by royal mail my daughter was so excited that she even started singing some of the songs from the show. In the box are 6 popular character figurines from the main TV programme such as Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle, Makka Pakka, and all 3 of the tombliboos, -Un, Oo and Ee. They are made from idestructive plastic that is quite strong and versatile and sure is made to last for a good few years. My daughter loves imaginative play as this was the perfect buy for her and has spent many good hours playing with the figurines... Read review

Advantages: made my daughter feel more grown up
Disadvantages: expensive and still like a nappy

...and ate or when it was sleep time. As they were only being used for a short time during the day there wasn't any leaks and at first she saved it up for when these went on so they seemed pretty good there. My daughter did ask for her grown up nappies to be put on at other times but they never were. I think she liked the fact that Bob the Builder were on them. At night there were never any leaks and they were a lot easier to put on than normal nappies as my daughter could just step into them. After a few days these were only used at night and when she firsts goes to bed she likes to read some books for 10 minutes or so. The potty goes in her room and she can quite easily pull them down when she needs to go and pull them back. So she does feel grown up and knows they are a bit like knickers.
