This CD (produced by EMI and Music for Pleasure) has a wide range of Welsh Male voice Choirs from all over Wales. The competition between the different choirs and indeed the different parts of Wales are fiercely competitive. But the strong, intense rivalry is always friendly. Well, MOST of the time, that is!

...This CD is excellent. I have always been a fan of Male Voice choirs (not just because I'm welsh) because the overall harmony is gorgeous!! I saw this CD advertised recently on the TV and my parents bought it for me. I was not disappointed. There is an excellent selection on traditional welsh ballads with past pop hits etc. People often mistake Male Voice Choirs as just a 'Welsh Thing' that they won't nessarily enjoy, I think they would be pleasently suprised if they bought it.
Being the age of 20, not many of the younger generation appreciate music different to hip-pop, punk-rock or rap but as I was brought up surrounded by jazz, classical, brass etc, I have a much wider taste, thankfully. This is a CD that I play quite often and enjoy every time.

Advantages: The ultimate pop songs by the ultimate pop band! Disadvantages: I'm a bit tired of Nadine singing EVERYTHING
...Back in the Summer of 2002 something special was happening; something that would have massive repercussions for the music industry and the future of reality TV; ten beautiful girls and ten moderately attractive boys were battling it out in a London studio in front of three famous music industry insiders for the chance of winning a music contract and achieving worldwide fame.
Now, put like this, it might not seem like the most exciting prospect in the world but it was this show that not only eventually launched the most successful girlband since the Spice Girls, but it was also their success that proved to all the doubters who had, erm, doubted the significance and credibility of reality TV since the sad flop that was Hear'Say that televised talent shows would, and could, generate talent, longevity and music worth listening...
