In 1999, Papa Wemba paid tribute to the world's first Diamantaire of African descent, André Action Diakité Jackson, by naming a musical compilation after him. This is probably his best album and the title track is incredibly popoular and can still be heard regularly all through Congolese gatherings.
Jackson is a successful diamond tycoon who has a long history of manufacturing Congolese millionaires due to his pro-African business dealings.
The name of the album, "M'Zée Fula-Ngenge" (which translates to "Fortune Blower" in the Lingala language) is the Congolese clan name that was given to Jackson by former Zairean President, Mobutu Sese Seko.
It's a collectors piece for ALL music lovers.
