Made by Me - a gorgeous how to book on sewing & knitting

Advantages: Clear photographs, easy to follow instructions, simple projects
Disadvantages: Not all little girls will want to learn how to knit or sew, clearly only aimed at girls

Our niece is almost 9 and loves doing anything arty, when I spotted the Made by Me book had been left with the book club in the canteen at work. I knew before I even turned a page she would love it. I ordered it and when it had been delivered I knew that I had made the right choice. The book is "A Stitch-by-Stitch Guide to Knitting, Sewing and Embroidery", the front cover in lovely pastel shades is very appealing and what first caught my attention. The book is split into four chapters: Workboxes Embroidery Sewing and Knitting. The Workboxes chapter is the shortest at just pages, here the reader is shown how to make and decorate their own workboxes for keeping things like wool or ribbon in using things you would find around the house such as a jam jar or an egg box. Those boots are made for walking

Advantages: Get fit and healthy and strengthen those bones
Disadvantages: Takes a bit of effort

Are you looking for a free way to get fit without having to go to the gym and do all those really strenuous exercises and pay all those exorbitant fees? The answer is at the end of your legs!
