Having wrapped filming on Trouble In Mind, Alan Rudolph went to work on his next movie. Having been inspired by Divine's performance as someone not in the movie too much, but having a presence across the whole piece. He sought out an unusual character for one of his key players in his next movie MadeIn Heaven. Divine declined the offer to follow Rudolph into this project having already agreed to work on Hairspray with his old buddy John Waters.

Advantages: Beautiful period piece with a great cast and there are sword fights guys. Disadvantages: It's a girly, romantic film and nothing blows up. Sorry guys.
Another Sunday on my own has rolled around (husband on a stag do in the Peak District) so it's time for another girly film review. Sorry men! I am realising that my taste in film may be coming across as a little shallow, but in 1998 everyone fell inlove with "Shakespeare inLove" which went home from the Oscars with 7 awards including Best Picture. A decade later, does it still hold up?
THE PREMISE
Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes) has written a couple of plays, but is no match for the brilliance of the playwright of the day, Christopher Marlowe (Rupert Everett) and still a player for hire who dreams of greater things. "Lessons InLove" is Lloyd (Polite)'s, third album. From my perspective, it has been his most anticipated as he came with some big singles since his debut "Southside" to give us "Get It Shawty", "You", and big singles from this album. Something which sets this one apart from the other two albums is that he has been getting a lot of UK airtime before the release with "How We Do It", which features Ludacris, and the compulsory Lil' Wayne contribution on "Girls Around The World".

I found this to be a good way to start the album, but not something which really eases you into his music. I felt that it was quite immediately as we seem to be getting straight into the core ideas of the album as he begins it with a sexual education tutorial to kick us off.
