of the city from its beginnings in the 13th century right up to the modern day. The exibits include artifacts, paintings, videos and more. One very interesting exibit was a video in the World War Two section. This is not really highlighted but is so fascinating. The video shows a group of people who went into hiding during the war. Its nowhere near as famous as Anne Frank, but really adds to the overall story of those hiding. If you've got the I Amsterdam card then I would definately say to make time for a quick walk around here as its included and parts were very interesting. If you've only got a short time or have children who find most museums a drag, then perhaps this isn't the place for you.
The afternoon saw visits to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Goch Museum, both on our passes. I loved the Rijksmuseum. At the moment only around 12 ...

In the seventies , or was the eighties, I remember Cliff Richard appearing on Top of the Pops wearing a T-shirt proclaiming “I’m Nearly Famous”, or something akin to that sentiment. Well , aren’t we all. On Thursday 7th of June our band Spoon appeared at the Tyneside Irish Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne to raise money for Cancer research. A CD / Video CD will be available hopefully within the month (price to be decided) as well as T-shirts (see profile for design) (price 10 GBP if you would like one).
This is a pre amble to this op stating that nearly all lads would really like to be a rock star , if they could. I’m 44 and still hoping, though Spoon is probably as near as I’m going to get, still playing to a partisan crowd of 200 for a couple of hours gives you a great buzz..

Jme's first album " Famous?" is a more mainstream attempt from the self titled Boy Better Know CEO than his previous 4 mixtapes. Whilst still retaining a "grime" sound, JME covers subjects such as the alarming rate of gun and knife crime on "Punch In The Face" which takes a twist on many slang words with double meanings, a very interesting song indeed. JME is an artist who is renowned for his more intellectual lyrics and this shines through on his debut album. " 123 " and " Punch In The Face " are perfect examples of this. Other stand out tracks include " Sun, Sea And Sand" which is a summer time anthem where JME is describing a holiday in ayia napa. " Power " Is a concept song with JME using his imagination to write about having a power to clone anything available to him. Also " Serious" is a insightful song about the amount of fake ...
