Advantages: An excellent third album.. Disadvantages: One track not so good
the standard lyric booklet, so you can learn all the words for when you go and see him on his October Tour! There is also a little poster, one side with the album artwork, the other a shot of him singing to a small crowd. It is just what I would put on my wall, did I not want to preserve its awesomeness.
Only one thing was left ? playing it!
Poetry of the Deed
Live Fast Die Old
I first heard this back in January. It has been improved for the record. It starts off with a symbol drum beat, and a little piano melody before the guitars come in. Straight off, you can hear that this is heavier album that Frank?s previous offerings, and his acoustic guitar is a mere addition ? not the lead it was in previous songs. His voice continues to carry the same edge of enthusiasm for what he is singing ? perfect! The music is great, a strong drum ...
Advantages: Can improve your use of the English language. Disadvantages: Can and will be used to make totally inappropriate phrases!
Have you, or any of your friends or family got those brightly coloured magnetic letters on you fridge? You know the ones that everyone tries to make into rude words; only there are never enough vowels!
Consider how good it would be to have over 400 words to play with, so that you could create poetry right there in your kitchen.
Well I have the perfect answer…MagneticPoetry.
I discovered this recently when was out shopping for a present for Steves birthday. I was actually looking at the birthday cards in Waterstones, when I was strangely drawn to this little gem (it must have been magnetism!).
MagneticPoetry kits do basically what they say. They provide you with loads of words with which you can get your creative juices flowing, and stick you very own brand of poetry to your fridge, or even to your filing cabinet ...
Advantages: Reasonable kitchen, helpful installers willing to fix all snag issues Disadvantages: Expensive, poor communication at times, work overran slightly, chasing up required
say is that no job of this nature will be without issues during installation and the key is to stay calm, don't take it personally, don't annoy the installers and be polite yet firm with Magnet.

Album Reviews
Magnet (11-12/97, pp.62-64) - "...This decidedly English quintet paints a vibrant pop canvas that recalls the Style Council and Aztec Camera..." Option (3-4/98, p.80) - "...smart arrangements with an unexpected air of sophistication....Comet Gain may be too naive for the grown-up world, but, then again, youth will always be served."
