I first saw Maid In Manhattan a few months ago when it was on the television. I loved the film so much that I decided to purchase a copy of the DVD. Maid In Manhattan is an American romantic comedy film released in 2002. This film was directed by Wayne Wang and stars singer/actress Jennifer Lopez.. Running time of this movie is one hundred and five minutes (fifteen minutes under two hours). This movie is a PG. Marisa is a single mother. She is struggling financially and so takes up a job working as a maid in a hotel. Whilst cleaning a room , she tries on a coat , which the rich lady who owns the coat has asked them to return it to the store for her. Is She Really A Maid in Manhattan?

Advantages: chick flick, romantic comedy
Disadvantages: if you don't like jennifer lopez

I must admit I am a huge fan of chick flicks so when I saw this on special offer for £5.99 in my local Asda, I decided to pick it up for a rainy evening when I was in on my own. The Dvd I am talking about is Maid in Manhattan, a chick flick starring Jennifer Lopez and Ralph Fiennes. Maid in Manhattan is a romantic comedy that centres on Marisa (Jennifer Lopez) and her life as a chambermaid in a posh Manhattan Hotel. She wishes for a better life for her and her son Tyler. She wishes that she was like the posh entrepreneurs and the like that constantly stay in the hotel that she works in. Marisa and some of the fellow chambermaids like to have a touch of fun whilst they are at work and they try the clothes on of the rich women and imagine what it must be like to live the wealthy life. I always enjoy Jennifer Lopez?s films. They are complete remarkable films for the whole family and young teenagers. The plot consists of Jennifer Lopez playing a maid at a first class hotel, Marisa Ventura who falls in love with a handsome heir to a political dynasty, Christopher Marshall who believes that she is a another rich hotel guest. However after falling for Christopher, Marisa has to pretend to be someone she?s not, but when her true identify is revealed there worlds are so different they that they are drifted apart, but could a rich man fall in love with a maid? This film is mainly for you teenagers. It made my laugh and smile through the film, which became annoying probably to other people.
