...JudyCollins
**************
On 1st May 1939 in Seattle, Washington, JudyCollins was born.
In the 60's JudyCollins was one of the most talked about and Interpretive Folksingers.Judy first started off playing the clissical piano but at the age of 15 she turned to her dream of becoming a folksinger and released her very 1st album in 1962 at the age 22. This Album was called A Maid Of ConstantSorrow.
In 1966 Judy's musical career really took off. Releasing her next album In My Life was a great memory for Judy as this was her 6th Album that went to Gold
Some of her best known performances were the cover's of "Amazing Grace", the all time favorite Gospel and the Broadway Ballad "Send in the Clowns," along with some songs of her very own such as "My Father" and "Born to the Breed."

Advantages: Quality collection of Phils Greatest Hits Disadvantages: A few tracks not justifying enough
...lovers and people out there.
Collins talks of not always doing the right things, not always thinking straight but now he's hurt his loved one he thinks only straight. He's done wrong, he'd love to turn it back and can't so now he's left weeping in his sorrows and mistakes.

Collins not only wrote the right lyrics, sang a true love song but also made...

Advantages: Some great Judy Classics Disadvantages: Sound tone not as clear as hoped for
...Yet another 'Classic' Judy.
When you can hear her young voice you can get some rawness in her renditions, these small nuanices add to the magic that is a young maturing Judy.
Listen with closed eyes as you can also hear happiness in her expert delivery of some great classics.
This album also helps portray the 'long life' Judy had as singer, she was so young, she was so punished by those who should have looked after her.
To think this talanted young person was used mainy as a vessel for studios to make money, she died young because of this.
Another album we lovers of Judy must have in our collection
It seems Judy is getting a new awarness, lets hope we continue to see more re-released and remastered recordings....
