...Track 2 - Make it good This is another easy going track that shows the differences in the groups style. Still this track has nothing that really appeals to me and is more for followers or fans of the group. It is again the straight forward pop style tune and is not as bad as some that I have heard but in places it sounds almost like a hymn. ...Track 10 - Make it through the night Yawn yawn wow thought that I was gonna fall asleep for a minute there. Track 11 - Cherish this love Brilliant - not this song the fact that I am getting near the end of the cd. This is a ballad with mainly guitar and a bit of a gentle drum beat for accompanyment but it is too slow and another made more for the ladies as it is a song for more of the softhearted type. ...I am reviewing was their 3rd. Now they hadnt released a song from their previous album since February 2001 and were really quite until they started to promote this album "Make it Good". WHY IS WAS DIFFERENT? As most pop bands say when they are releasing a new album "This one is going to be really different its worth buying" and then you buy it and it sounds exactly the same as the last album. ...were trying to achieve with Make It Good is light rock, and I think what they came up with was good. a1 are (or were) Ben Adams (who's probably the most famous of them all because of his hair), Paul Marazzi, Christian Ingebrigtsen and Mark Read. Ben is from London, Paul is from London also but lived in Spain for a while, Mark is from Surrey and Christian is from Norway. They were at their prime around 1999 - 2003. ...on the album. 2. Make It Good Written by Mark and Chris, this is a great, catchy song which was their second single from the album! 3. Here Comes The Rain I really like this song - Paul sings the chorus and does a really good job, his voice suits it. It was written by Chris and Paul with Chris Porter. 4. ...Track 2 - Make It Good This song did fairly badly in the charts and it's another slightly rock inspired tune. It sounds almost as if it's from the 1960s. Christian is really good on it though. Track 3 - Here Comes The Rain A piano and guitar slow rock song. Boring. Track 4 - When I'm Missing You This is almost musical wallpaper. It's the sort of thing you wouldn't even hear in the background on a soap. Boring again. Track 5 - This Ain't What Love ...
...Track 10 - Make It Through The Night A pretty boring song to be honest, but the piano sounds very Beatles-like. Ben's singing is good though. Track 11 - Cherish This Love Ben's singing is good and it's a slightly more poppy direction but it's not a very memorable song. Track 12 - Do You Remember This track sounds like an out-take from a Hansen album! Not awful but not great either. Track 13 - One Last Song Great piano intro but quite a boring song ... Read review
