Advantages: Some Brilliant Tracks, Relaxing...

...was on holiday, but I found some online, the Omni Trio albums. So knowing me I was downloading and buying the albums straight away from Amazon and iTunes, and from all of the four Omni Trio albums I purchased, this album was by far one of the best.... ------------------------------ Who Are Omni Trio? ------------------------------ Well I must admit, the first time I noticed any of Omni Trio's albums and their songs, I was guessing it was three people who make up Omni Trio, but it is actualy just one man. The musician who makes up Omni Trio is Rob Haigh... Rob Haigh is British and he is actualy nicknamed " Omni Trio " in the music world. Rob Haigh began to start releasing albums in the early 80's where ha had albums called Notes From The Underground, and Three Seasons Only, but he did not release the albums as part of being Omni Trio... Advantages: Dark, melodic, infectious punk with great lyrics
Disadvantages: Some tracks seem like filler

.../10 Every Thug Needs A Lady is another Dan song. Don't really like the intro, but it eventually kicks into a very good song. Lovely chorus. 8/10 Dan carries on lead vocals with Blue Carolina. This track has grown on me. Beautiful chorus with awesome harmonies. 9/10 Donner Party is the happiest song on the album. Very upbeat with a very catchy chorus. A great all round punk song. 9/10 If We Never Go Inside is a good track. Not one of the best on the album, but a beautiful track. 9/10 Blue In The Face is acoustic and in 6/8. This is just beautiful. Slightly overrated, but incredibly awesome. 9/10 This isn't the best place to start with the trio. I'd go with the Self Titled album or Maybe I'll Catch Fire if you're new to them. This is a good album, but it doesn't grab you. It's nice if you're not out to fully concentrate on the music... Read review

Advantages: All round good songs and lyrics

...Felumlee (From Here to Infirmary), and finally to Derek Grant (Good Mourning and Crimson). The line up is now cemented, and I hope will stay that way for a long time to come! Now onto the album. As I said, it may not be the most polished collection of tracks, but it has a great number of scratchy guitar riffs that will always have a place in my heart. CRINGE is a great opener, with Skiba's tense vocals screaming out at you, you know you're in for a ride. Fantastic playing, fantastic tune. This standard stays much the same through Cop and San Francisco, storming onto track 4, Nose Over Tail. This frantic song really catches your attention, and As You Were is a worthy follow up. After these songs, it's quite a surprise when you move on to the next track, a bittersweet acoustic love song fronted by Andriano whose voice I can't help... Read review
