Full review
Maladroit is an explosive powerful pop punk record. Weezer's frontman Rivers Cuomo has always had a great ability to write hook laden pop songs, from 'Buddy Holly' to 'Hash pipe' and the band sound more and more confident on this album.

This album contains the singles, Dope Nose, Keep Fishin', and Island in the sun, which also appeared on their last album.

River's lyrics are as always brilliant, thoughtful and humourous, and the addition of new bass player Scott Shriner gives the band a more heavy rock edge.

Overall I feel that this album is to be highly reccomended to rock fans, as it displays a wonderful mix of not only songwriting talent, but also lyrical talent, a two things that are often exclusive.
