...Talking about Damaso Perez Prado's music is talking about Mambo music in the fifties like "Que rico Mambo" and "Mambo number 8" that it is a Clasic theme, with good music that it characteric is the Perez Prado's shout "Ah uh", in the music at the final of the compass or a beging of the compass in the whole of its theme. If you don't kwon how the Mambo is, I describe that it has a litle of huaracha, son and a litle of jazz like "Mambo in Sax" and "Mambo en Trompeta" and Pianolo" for example. He was compoussed to the mexican costumes, mexican place and mambos with woman's title like "Mambo del Ruletero" or "Mambo del Politecnico" or "Mambo Universitario" and "Norma la de Guadalajara" and more less. ...Lou Bega has brought in just a little bit og Laitn American style music with his debut song "A Little Bit Of Mambo". It is a great song with a strong rythm and beat to it. No matter who you are or what you like you will most definately be singing along to this great song. It is ideal for that relaxing moment sunbathing in the garden (or even by th pool) or dancing to. The lyrics to this song are great, really funny and very easy to pick up when you are listening to it.... Read review

...This is an album for anyone who likes funky, chilled out music with a bit of a twist. This is german group de phazz's second album, and Godsdog (1999), in my opinion is their best. Out-classing later albums such as "death by chocolate", this album ranks alongside such lounge greats as nightwares on wax's "car boot soul". Mixing all flavours of music possible has become something of a trade-mark for De Phazz, and in doing so they have created a truly innovative sound. Godsdog, sporting 16 chilled-out tunes, will get into your head immediately, with its jazzy/techno fusion. The opening tune, "mambo craze" can only be described as a triumph..... it has a great feel of latin sounds mixed with some kind of fifties nostalgia, all to the backdrop of a song about getting high!
