Additional notes
Album Notes: This is the first half of an album--a nice mix of studio and live recordings--originally released on vinyl as a double LP. It catches Jerry Jeff Walker at a point in his life when it was beginning to become obvious that certain lifestyle changes needed to be made, and the ambience is, as you might expect, suitably woozy and world weary.
Advantages: Jeff Buckley, Live, Godly, Music Disadvantages: Short
...In this live album Jeff does some of his Grace songs, some covers and some songs that to my knoledge never got released as a studio recording.
Mystery white boy, the tours of 95-96 is a CD covering Jeffs unsatiable appetite for his own live music. He had a knack of never doing a song the same more than once, This is shown in effect by listening to his other live albums (such as "Live at sine").

Advantages: A good mix of songs Disadvantages: Doesnt help you get through the housework
...A cd thats a couple of years old now but still fun to listen to.
I mean this cd says its meant to help you through the housework but I personally dont think it really does,if anything it distracts you, because you just start singing along to all the great tracks this album has to offer, you get caught up in the music and completely lose track of what you were doing - maybe a good thing in a way :-)
Housework vol1 is a double album that has some cracking songs that you just dont seem to hear on the radio anymore such as The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda and Don McLeans - American Pie.
The songs on this album just make you feel good and really help to lift your spirits, but I honestly think its marketed wrong, this is a feel good album for anyone just not people doing the housework.I dont think the title of the album really represents...

Advantages: Some of the greatest ever songs of the 80's Disadvantages: None. Except maybe not enough of their other classic songs.
...synthesizers that emulate violins or an entire string section, with heavy electric guitars and soft piano interludes have become the defining Goth sound. And TSoM started it all.
So this album gathers some, if not most of that well-crafted genius…
The CD:
The front cover has a giant symbol circle in the middle. It is the record label motif, but in colour-a star (pentagram?) with a turned man's head which reminds me of the graphic artwork of Leonardo DaVinci used in the old World In Action TV programme of the 80's-90's (showing my age now).
The title of the album is written in the circle. This is Greatest Hits Vol.1, so it tells us at the top. The background is black (what else would it be!)
The rear cover lists the tracks in capitalised letters in white on black. The CD disc is a beautiful all black design with silver lettering...
