Advantages: Excellent Movie Sountrack. Disadvantages: None!
REASONS FOR PURCHASING:
St Elmo?s' Fire is one of my all time favourite movies that I really had great pleasure in watching in 1986. I really was thrilled when I first saw this excellent, star studded movie and was highly impressed with the soundtrack and all of the great songs that where played throughout it. I purchased this soundtrack a few years later after watching St Elmo's Fire, as I really thought all the songs chosen for the movie really helped it to be the big success it was. The Theme tune to St Elmo?s Fire was an excellent choice by producer David Foster. It is called "Man In Motion" and was performed by John Parr. The theme tune to St Elmo's Fire is played in little stages, instrumentally in this movie and it gradually builds up to an excellent song that?s performed by "The Great" John Parr near the end of the final ...
Advantages: Helps you re-live a fantastic series Disadvantages: Some tracks do end sharply or repeat others
For anyone who is totally addicted to Doctor Who - this album is for you. If you thought Series 1&2 original sound track was good, then this will blow you away.
Murray Gold has excelled himself once again, delivering a soundtrack high in passionate imagination-capturing content that really will take you back to The Doctor and his adventures.
The Album begins with All the Strange Strange creatures, which is a compliation of all the generalised music used in many episodes in the series. There are also more episode-specific tracks like Evolution of the Daleks and Boe. But some of these do end sharply (as heard in the TV series) and over lap into some of the more general themes.
There is also a track called The Doctor Forever which is done in similar vain to All the Strange, Strange Creatures and covers all the "Doctor" music used ...
Advantages: Very entertaining in those days I'm sure... Disadvantages: but we're in the 21st century now
DVD and found that to be suspenseful enough despite it being made around the same time with this film. However I must say that The ManWhoKnewToo Much proved just too boring and sketchy for me despite having such a promising plot and such a decent cast. Vintage Hitchcock doesn't quite cut it here. I've a great deal of patience for films with no apparent urgency or cutting edge to it but the greatest stumbling block here is that it's a thriller above all, and plainly not exciting enough for me.
