With all the hype surrounding this album, I decided that it was time to add 'The Man Who' to my ever-growing album collection, and there is no doubt that this ranks as one of the best of them. 'Travis' who? is what we were all asking early last year, and then this...a real master-piece, setting the Indie music scene alight. All of the tracks are brilliant without exception, but the best tracks are 'Driftwood' and 'Writing to Reach You,' and even the 'hidden' track 'Blue Flashing Light' is mightily impressive, written about Fran's relationship with his father. If 'Travis' can release an album half as good as this, I'll be rushing out to buy it. Buy this album immediately!

Advantages: Destined to be an all-time classic. What more can I say? Disadvantages: Travis will have a hell of a job to beat this with their next album!
Advantages: Excellent album, that has a very wide appeal. Some excellent singles and superb album tracks Disadvantages: It's perhaps too good that they raised the expectation too high for the rest of their albums
